Well if not, today's guest, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Tabitha Taylor of the Well-Play Counseling and Wellbeing Center has some powerful insight to share with you. Dr. Taylor completed her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology at the Los Angeles Campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also received her MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Antioch University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Taylor specializes in working with women of color and her doctoral dissertation explored the African American Woman’s Experiences of the Strong Black Woman Stereotype. Her approach is eclectic. She strives to provide methods that educate individuals how to effectively manage life struggles by focusing on providing healthy coping methods to achieve balance in managing emotions through communication, understanding and flexibility.
