Congratulations to all graduates and all students who have completed another year of school. As we prepare to relax this summer, what will be your new normal in the Fall? Today, we have with us Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Tracy Taris from The College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California. In this episode, she discusses the importance of relaxing, journaling and rejuvenating this summer to preserve your mental health and keep depression at bay. Telehealth services have become quite popular in her profession, and she encourages you to pursue a holistic approach to healing your mind, body and spirit with daily care supplemental and dietary practices that will support you beyond the vaccination. Tracy completed her MA in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. She received her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. As the President and Owner of Healing The Mind & Spirit, Inc. in the Santa Clarita Valley, she leads a team of therapists and wellness counselors who provide psychotherapy services to couples, families, individuals, and adolescents. Tracy is also a writer and has contributed to The Signal Newspaper. She has just signed on with a literary agency and is currently working on her first nonfiction book.
