Oh yeah there's a b-plot too! The OTHER O'Briens. Polyamorous domesticity. Meat Odo's surprisingly interested in gossip. Miles and Kira feel the fanfiction. Of all the male characters on station, does Kira have the most chemistry with Miles? The Enterprise is a place where people work, DS9 is a place where people live.
