As an angel investor Richard Fearn has met thousands of entrepreneurs, and there is a streak that runs through the best, he says. “They do have a restlessness and a resourcefulness to continue, even when it gets terribly hard.” And it doesn’t matter if you go through an incubator and accelerator. Every startup founder has one job. “Focus on building a company that is amazing. “It doesn’t really matter what you go through, where you are seen,” Fearn says. “Investors get understandably excited by huge markets and huge visions, and people who are incredibly ambitious to take on the world.”
