Show Notes

Auburn’s offense looked like a completely different animal under interim play-caller Derek Nix as the Tigers dropped a heartbreaker in overtime to Vanderbilt, 45-38. But the story wasn’t the loss — it was how this offense finally woke up.

Ashton Daniels threw for 353 yards on 31-of-44 passing, showing poise, accuracy, and a real command of the system. Jeremiah Cobb added 115 yards rushing, while both Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton topped 100 yards receiving. For the first time in two decades, Auburn had a 300-yard passer, a 100-yard rusher, and two 100-yard receivers in an SEC game. That’s not just production — that’s proof this offense had been handcuffed.
