They delve into the importance of this amino acid for human life and its conversion to the Neurotransmitter chemical – Serotonin; which is our cool, calm and collected chemical right down to what they call 'the tryptophan steal', where a feedback loop can convert the tryptophan to a neurotoxin Quinolinic Acid.
