Derek Carty of ESPN and RotoGrinders joins Derek VanRiper and Michael Beller on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Baseball Podcast. The guys dive into Derek's new projection system THE BAT X, and its differences from its predecessor, THE BAT. The guys then use those projections to discuss players such as Vlad Guerrero Jr., Justin Turner, Wander Franco and more.
The trio also gets into how the shortened 2020 season changes and, perhaps more interestingly, doesn't change the projections process, with a look at 2020 breakouts we can trust, and some others we might want to approach a bit more carefully.
