In March 2019, Altadis USA released the Henry Clay War Hawk which recognizes Henry Clay spearheading the movement that led to the War of 1812. Henry Clay rose to Speaker of of the US House of Representatives in the early 1800s where he was known as a staunch US nationalist. He was the leading voice who applied pressure to President James Madison to defend our young nation by declaring war again Britain in 1812. It was his view that military force was the only option left when it came to the British.
