Show Notes
Today I have another amazing episode from an incredible educator, Dr Hugh Chiltern. He serves as Director of Research and Professional Learning at The Scots College, a leading Presbyterian school for boys in Sydney, Australia. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, his role is to advance the College’s Brave Hearts Bold Minds philosophy.
In this wide-ranging discussion we talked about:
- How to build expert communities of knowledge and practice
- How schools can begin to see themselves as independent research communities.
- Lessons from the pandemic and how we need to respond to these new opportunities.
- How small acts of encouragement can significantly change the lives of young people.
It was a huge privilege to speak with Hugh.
