Today it is my great pleasure to introduce you to the  amazing Alex Wharton. Alex is the Principal at Carinya Christian School, Gunnedah. He is a passionate school leader and a wonderful advocate for our teaching profession.  Throughout his teaching career, Alex has been the recipient of numerous awards for his outstanding contribution to education, including a NSW Premier’s Teacher Scholarship, the Australian College of Educators’ Paul Brock Medal, the Teachers’ Guild of NSW World Teachers’ Day Award, and most recently a recipient of the 2021 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Fellow.  Alex has presented at local, state, and national educational conferences and he has published extensive teaching and learning resources. In this wide ranging interview we talked about: 1. Leading from within your organization, 2. Building teams and teacher capacity, 3.
