LANDSCAPE Photography with the PHASE ONE IQ3 Trichromatic
Digital Transitions was kind enough to loan me a Phase One XF camera with the IQ3 Trichromatic back for my time in Arizona. Matt Beaty took me off roading through Arizona to get some epic landscape photos and test out the Phase One.

The Phase One IQ3 is a 101 megapixel, medium format back. It uses a custom bayer filter design that separates Red, Green and Blue light in a new way that other digital cameras do no. In the RGB spectrum, there is always some degree of overlay. The Phase One design separates these a bit more than conventional cameras. The cost is about 1/3 an f-stop of light but the results are stunning.
