Jeans may just be the most ubiquitous clothing item in our wardrobes, but once you're over 40 there can be a lot of confusion about what styles are right. In this episode I'm giving you the lowdown on how to wear jeans over 40 and answering the question that's on everyone's mind – can I still wear skinny jeans? But first
1/ Fit – muffin top? Mid to high rise
2/ Cut Skinnies – esp. for apples Straight Bootcut Cropped Flare Boyfriend, Girlfriend
3/ Wash – light for lighter coloring, med, dark
4/ Details Avoid overly distressed overly trendy opt for raw hems, slight distressing
5/ Styling Opt for a bit more polish Tee shirt with a blazer and sneakers Longer top or jacket can create balance Cute flats, sandals Trendy top Tuck, belt, etc.
