Show Notes

Good afternoon. Arizona. I'm Aaron Jolly. That wind rattling your windows? It's real. Gusts are hitting 30 miles an hour across the lower deserts right now, with some spots in the higher terrain getting slammed at 40. A dry cold front just blew through, stirring things up. The good news? It all calms down by tonight. In the next 24 hours. Down in Phoenix and Tucson, you're cruising to 80 degrees this afternoon. That's textbook early March. But drive north to Flagstaff and you're in a different season — highs barely crack 52, with a slight chance of light rain and snow showers. The mountains above 7,000 feet might wake up to a dusting tomorrow. Tonight, the temperature drops hard. Phoenix falls to 48. Tucson dips to 39. Flagstaff? A crisp 19 degrees under mostly clear skies. Friday brings cooler air statewide. Phoenix tops out at 72 — about 19 degrees cooler than today. Tucson hits 70. Flagstaff climbs to 44 with mostly sunny skies. Those northwest winds stick around Friday afternoon, gusting to 25 miles an hour. Saturday warms things back up — Phoenix hits 79. Tucson 76. Sunday gets even warmer, with Phoenix climbing to 87, though moisture sneaks in late with a chance of showers. Monday brings the best rain chance, especially across eastern Arizona and the higher terrain. By Tuesday, we dry out as high pressure builds back in. Wednesday looks gorgeous — sunny skies with Phoenix near 85. If this helped you plan your week, a quick rating keeps us going.
