Show Notes

The Bideford Baresi.

Gary Sawyer's family moved to North Devon from North London when he was a child and he started his long established footballing career in the South West.

That career saw him battle it out against Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney as a teenager, break into the Argyle Coca-Cola Championship side in his early 20s and then went on to win two promotions with the Greens in his later years.

There have been ups and downs and even a few regrets, but Gary's Argyle record is right up there with some of the club's greatest.

On top of that, Neil Dewsnip talks to Rob McNichol rounding up the past week's action at the FIFA World Cup and we introduce you to the people behind the Portcullis Legals Lyndhurst Road Stand.
