On today's episode Jessica hosts Dr. Diane Menzies (Ngāti Kahungunu, Rongowhakaata, & Aitanga a Mahaki), Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit and consultant on cultural landscape and Indigenous issues for Landcult Ltd. We discuss Landscape Architecture, western professional mono-culture, and how decolonization can lead to better cities. Dr. Menzies speaks to differing perspectives on landscapes as well as addressing different perspectives when mediating conflict relating to the land.
