Good morning and Happy New Year to all! Welcome to The Anthony Gargano Show. There was an official announcement yesterday stating that Saquon Barkley and most of the starters will sit out Week 18 against the New York Giants. Last week, Barkley made it into the 2,000-yard club when playing against the Cowboys, finishing just 100 yards shy of the all-time record. Jalen Hurts remains under concussion protocol and is unlikely to play this week against the Giants. College football achieved a record high on New Year's Eve and Day, with Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas advancing to the next playoff round. Tonight, Notre Dame and Georgia are set to compete after their match was postponed due to a tragic attack in New Orleans. Our thoughts are with those affected by this incident and the families involved.
