It’s only fair that he, Jake, goes through it too with her. He disagrees, that’s the point of being a woman, making sacrifices for your child. There’s no reason for him not to drink. During the “live auction” portion of the night, he got into a bidding war with another dad for a package that included their child getting to be “principal for a day” and a ride to school that day in a fire truck. He ended up spending $2500 for it. His wife is furious, they can’t afford that kind of donation, and she wants him to reach out to the school and back out. Let the other dad have it! He says it’s too late, they have to just put it on a credit card and deal with it. She says it’s not too late, they didn’t tell their son yet about it, no one has to know. What would you do?
