The Ani-Boys

The Ani-Boys return to the (virtual) recording booth after a few months to finally talk about anime! Nagisa has developed a hyper fixation on Diablo and Richtofen, Miyamura buys a library, and Miku gets ignored. Just like old times...

Nagisa did the writing and I guess we talked, this seems good enough right? right?

The Ani-Boys wake up Hood_Megumi for an impromptu episode where they talk about what they've been doing since they last recorded. Miyamura tries to talk about sports, but the conversation quickly gets side-tracked. The rest of the cast wants to meet Momma-mura, and talk about esports instead. Just a regular day for The Ani-Boys.

The Ani-Boys are at each other's throats this week as they discuss Attack on Titan, after Miyamura finally finished watching it. His takes are, as usual, different from the others but he realises that his thoughts are wrong -insert evil Nagisa laugh-. Miyamura and Nagisa fight about globes, while Miku plays devil's advocate. Can they agree on anything?

Its been a year since our debut, so the Ani-boys look back and talk about our favourite episodes. We also go over some behind the scenes stories stories, reflect on the descriptions, and try to remember the stupid stuff we put out into the world. Here's to another good year (of obscurity)!

The boys actually talk about anime this week. They mostly argue about Classroom of the Elite and Sword Art Online, since they're basically the only shows they have in common. And even then, they can't agree on anything.

This week The Ani-Boys invite AsukaisBalls and RikkaOwDaily back for the first episode of the new year! And as before, 5 people is a recipe for chaos ('My bad' - Dango_Nagisa). We go over our top 5 anime (except Miku :c), New Years Resolutions that sane people do not care about, and argue about K-On. Let Season 2: BEGIN!

After another break, The Ani-Boys catch up and talk about what they did with their time. Which isn't much, honestly. Miyamura is the only one to celebrate Thanksgiving, so food discussions quickly turn into making fun of the American and British language. Because nothing ever changes.

The Ani-boys are back, and they have a bit of catching up to do. After that, they talk about their favo(u)rite foods -thanks Miyamura-. Miku educates the others on Russian Cuisine, but like true weebs we all prefer Asian food anyway. Too bad Nagisa doesn't have a kitchen.

This week we welcome Rikka_Ow (NOT OVERWATCH!!!) _Daily to talk about the differences between British Schools and American Schools. Apparently Shakespeare is just as annoying over there too. Then Miku tries again to convince Miyamura to watch QQ, with some help from an old friend. Miku loves vodka AGAIN and has 20 shots in the past 24hrs. It goes as well as expected.

The incomparable HoodMegumin joins the podcast this week, and he has a lot to say. Which is good, since we don't have a topic. We get to hear about what it was like to start the Hood-Based community, music tastes, and favourite genres. Too bad Megu is an Emilia simp.

The Ani-Boys all have siblings, so we share a few stories about our childhood trauma. It seems like none of us were very good brothers. Miku got pushed down the stairs, Nagisa broke his brother's arm, and Miyamura got pushed out of a car. It's a dog-eat-dog world we live in.

The Ani-boys plan out their perfect crime or tell crime related story (Miyamura and Miku didn't hear the last part). Nagisa gets swatted? Miku and Miyamura plan ways to get away with murders? Nagisa also commits the crime of rewriting Miyamura's captions!

The Ani-Boys welcome back Mangafan (big mistake) and his rival Sakamoto (bigger mistake) to talk about their refusal to ever collab. Then they walk us through the literary masterpiece that is their rap battle. Miku corrects Manga's grammar, Sakamoto and Nagisa play Overwatch 2, and Miyamura goes insane. 5 people is definitely to many.

The Ani-Boys welcome @Manga.fan742 to the podcast for an intense interrogation. 🤓Wait, is he interrogating us?! 🤓Miku can't stop mentioning QQ,🤓 Manga actually prepared questions, and Miyamura nerd emoji's his way through the discussion🤓. Oh, and Mug Root Beer, apparently.🤓

It's been a minute since we recorded, and we haven't spent that time preparing a topic. Instead, we just have some super straight manly bonding time, The sigma male lone wolf arises within us. THEN WE ARE ESCAPING THE MATRIX!

This week the Ani-Boys talk about video games! YO! Or at least they try, but they haven't exactly played the same things. Nagisa and Miyamura gush about the ocean while Miku drowns himself. And there may be an imposter among us!

The Ani-boys have returned again, and this time they are making some tough choices. Would you rather be Eaten by a Titan or Flattened by a Bald Dude? Would you rather be way too short or way too tall (and have a crazy dong)? This may be the hardest challenge yet.

The Ani-Boys are back (again)! Yeah sorry we've been pretty busy hitting milestones. This time we talk about school stories. Sassy students, roman candle fights, and flooded toilets. It should come as no surprise that we were difficult children. We are busy being awesome - Miyamura.
