Ep 52EP52:Be An Example
On this episode of MOVE, guest speaker Tim Goad talks about how you need to be an example for others to follow in all that you do. He also talks about the importance of simplicity and clarity when dealing with people. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright www.NAALeads.com @NationalAgentsAlliance @NAALeadsTheWay #TheAlliance #DoTheDo

Ep 51EP51: Ready, Fire, Aim and How It Matters To You
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright tells you why you need to use a "Ready, Fire, Aim" mentality when it comes to your career. How many times have you seen the Nike slogan, "Just Do It?" Three simple words. Yet, so many people don't get it or DO it. One way I help people get things done is by showing them my "Ready, Fire, Aim" worksheet. What I share with people is that you need to get a project from conception to about 50 percent of what you think is complete and then seek input from people that know what you need to do to make it better or complete it. Don't build the whole car or plane before you get feedback. That's crazy. Now, I'm not saying sit there and talk about what you could do or what you should do either. Move. Take action. Just do it. Get started now. The "DO" or "action orientation" is the primary difference between high achievers and low achievers. Low achievers and non-achievers have good or great intentions. Many of you have heard the Randy Travis song "Good Intentions" that includes the line that goes "And I hear tell the road to hell is paved with good intentions … and mama my intentions were the best." Well, intentions will only take you so far. You've got to move and get things done or your words fall short when it comes to being successful. Why wait to get started? Let's go. There is something called the Law of Reversibility that deals with psychology and metaphysics. Did you know that you are more likely to ACT yourself into feeling a particular way than you are to FEEL yourself into acting? Act "as if" you are the person you desire to be! With the qualities and talents that you desire to have your actions will generate the feelings that go with them. TIP: Get advice = take action! Here is my advice: walk, talk, dress and behave like the people you hold in high regard or edify, and you will soon FEEL like the people you want to be like. You will treat other people the way LEADERS do. You will WORK like top performers and you will get results like successful people do. Many people like to say, "Fake it until you make it." I would say, "Faith it until you make it." Now, there will be issues, difficulties and challenges. Will you use those times as opportunities to get instruction and not let the challenges obstruct you? When you run into trouble that is the time to seek out training and help rather than shut down and give up. Oh yeah, these are times when you need God and prayer too. I want you to have an unshakable persistency that is THE model for others to follow. Do what former N.C. State basketball coach Jimmy Valvano said, "Never give up!" I see each potential obstacle or setback containing a seed that holds an equal or greater advantage or benefit to a person. But, you have to know it is in there and figure out how to get it grow and expand. Your job to stay focused. Your job is to "DO." When you have trouble, there's a good chance the lesson from the problem may be exactly what you need to learn at that point in your life. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright www.NAALeads.com @NationalAgentsAlliance @NAALeadsTheWay #TheAlliance #DoTheDo

Ep 50EP50: Connection Is Needed
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright tells you why connection is needed to survive. Albright talks about what you need to survive as a person. There are certain things you need to survive as a human being. You need water and you need air. You also need connections in life. You need connections to build strength, to have fuel, energy and to overcome obstacles. It is all part of life. Don't overestimate or underestimate what is needed to live. Think about it, plan for it and execute your strategy. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #MOVE #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

Ep 49EP49: Can You Give 100 Percent?
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright talks about why the smartest people are not always the most successful. Many times, it boils down to effort. Hard work will beat talent when talent doesn't work hard. Albright knows that other people are smarter and more disciplined than him, but the thing that makes him successful is that he doesn't sit around and think. He gets up and moves. Every single day he is focused on getting things accomplished. When you keep working and moving, then you will get more done. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #MOVE #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

Ep 48EP48: Emotional Or Broke?
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright poses the question, are you emotional or broke? Are you emotional or broke? Pick one of those things and use it to get better. Which pain do you want? Broke or emotional? Pick one! Decide which one you are and get after it! www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #MOVE #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

Ep 47EP47: Striving For Excellence Not Average
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright explains why you should shoot for excellence and not just average. What is excellence? How do you do all you can do? I'm talking about excellence. How far can you go? How much can you do? How many people can you help? How much of a difference do you want to make in your life? www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #MOVE #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

Ep 46EP46: 99 Percent Is Up To YOU
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright shares why your direction is controlled by YOU! You are driving this ship we call life, so what are you doing? Average people always blame people and circumstances, that's just what ordinary people do. 99 percent of the time it is you that is holding YOU back. Why are you not going all out? If you can fix 80 percent of your own problems, then you will be more successful. Ask yourself what is really holding you back? If you can work more on fixing you, you will quickly learn the world is not holding you back. Why are you not going all out? Go all in and see what happens for you. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #MOVE #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

Ep 45EP45: 8 Ways To Improve Self-Esteem
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright gives you 8 fast ways to improve your self-esteem Quit comparing yourself to others. Don't put yourself down Say and think positive things Accept compliments Use self-help books to change your beliefs Spend time with positive and supportive people Lean on your positive qualities Take pride in your character www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle #MOVE

Ep 44EP44: How To Keep A Healthy Perspective
On this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright talks about keeping the right perspective in your life. Do you have a healthy perspective? How do you view the world? Are you positive or negative about most things? Do you get worked over small things, or maybe you don't care enough about things that should be a big deal? I'm not talking about what is, but rather what you see and how you view things? Do you have a healthy perspective? Do you understand that life is not fair? Do you realize that the world doesn't owe you? Nobody owes you anything. There's not a person on earth that was sent here to exclusively to make you happy. When you realize this and start acting that way you will be better off. www.AndyAlbright.com @AndySAlbright #TheAlliance #DoTheDo #InsideTheCircle

EP39: You Change Even When Others Won't
Do you let other people influence your behavior even when you know you should not? Do you work hard to keep changing, even when those around you are being stubborn like an old tree deeply rooted in self-doubt and self-defeating behaviors? You decide to keep changing even when other people will not. That's how you keep growing. That's how you keep reaching for higher goals. That is how you win big. We hope you enjoy this edition of Andy Albright's MOVE podcast. Take notes and settle in as Andy helps you learn one of five ways that he stays positive. @AndySAlbright

EP38: John C. Maxwell Visits The Alliance at NatCon17
Dr. John C. Maxwell traveled to Raleigh, N.C. on Jan. 21, 2017 to deliver The Alliance's keynote address at #GreatAmericanDreamMachine #NatCon17. Maxwell, a bestselling author and leadership coach, is no stranger to #TheAlliance. Maxwell, the author of more than 75 books, has spoken at several national events and is a friend and mentor to Alliance president and CEO Andy Albright. If you weren't in Raleigh, N.C., grab a pen and notepad to take notes while you listen to Maxwell speak about living an intentional life. A successful life means extra grace will be required. From this moment on, be aware of what you are doing so that you can live an intentional life. Be intentional with your growth in all that you do. Don't just accept your life as it is today. If you just accept things, you will eat a lot of leftovers that other people toss to the side. It takes more than luck to succeed. Everything worthwhile is going to be an uphill climb. That means uphill hopes and downhill habits. An intentional life comes down to being deliberate, consistent and willfully. When you are consistent, things start to compound for you. Now, you don't win an award after doing something for only seven days. It is a process and you have be willing to do it again and again, over and over, time after time. What do you sing about? What do you cry about? What do you dream about? Do these things every single day: Believe in people, value people and unconditionally love people. Pay close attention to these areas of your life: Personal growth and development Leadership Attitude Significance Take action to change your life. Most people are educated way beyond what is needed to take action. But do they take action? How well you lead will determine how well you succeed. Be aware of your PARTNERS P - place your agenda above mine A - add value to people R - resource you with influence and tools, ideas and thinking T - tailor my services to meet your needs N - never violate trust E - exceed expectations R - respect the relationship and grow in it Are you going to read your life story or write your life story? Too many people are watching life and not living it! The Rule of 5 for significance Value people Think of ways to add Value to people Look for ways to add value to people Do things that add value to people Ask yourself how you added value to value today @AndySAlbright

EP36: A Conversation With Stephen Davies
On this episode of Andy Albright's MOVE podcast, Mac Heffner sits down and has a conversation with Stephen Davies, one of the many success stories with The Alliance. We hope you enjoy this episode and learn more about why Stephen is so successful. Take notes and leave us a comment! Davies rise as one of The Alliance's top agents started when Davies was only 18 years old. He started his career as an insurance agent, but spent two frustrating years with an insurance company he felt was bankrupt on values and principles. Fatigued and worn down by the politics of his previous employer, Davies answered a newspaper advertisement posted by Andy Albright, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Alliance. Intrigued by Albright's shared vision of a people-oriented insurance brokerage and by his drive to find financial independence through helping others, Davies drove to Burlington, N.C. to meet Albright face-to-face at his home. That visit led to a friendship and partnership that is stronger than ever today. Davies became the youngest million-dollar-income earner with The Alliance and his business continues to grow to this day. Stephen Davies and his wife Hollie reside in Candler, NC with the couple's two children. @AndySAlbright @NAALeadsTheWay

EP33: Don't Be Scared ... Run to Win!
On this episode of Andy Albright's MOVE podcast, Andy introduces Lamb's Chapel senior pastor Brian Biggers to talk about winning, why it is important that you are not scared and that you play to win in life. The Bible says, "Run to win." Biggers was a high school track star in Charlotte, N.C. growing up. His specialty was 500 meters and he loved running, but he ran like he expected to win every single race. He didn't run to be running. He ran so that he could win and he ran with that intention. Not all his teammates cared that much. They were just there and it didn't bother them if they won or lost. There are four races that we all run in life. First, there's the race of integrity. That means that you do the right thing all the time, whether you want to or not. If you have talent and you are gifted, you will get to the top. But, you can't stay there if you don't operate with integrity. When nobody is looking, you do the right thing period. Integrity is what keeps you at the top. If you don't have it, you will crash and burn. You can build a great business and have all the money in the world, but if you don't have great character then it means nothing. If you don't win the race of character, you will lose it all one day. Second, you have the race of relationships. If you get rich, but don't have great relationships then you have lost at life. You might win in business, but if you don't have relationships with your friends and family then what good is it? You need people to share life with. It's about family. We all need three people in our life. You need a person who is ahead of you in life, and you need to be around a person like that. You need a person who is about your age and is about on pace with you in life. You need a person that is not where you are that is younger that you can encourage and cheer for. If you cross the finish line first by yourself, then you have lost. You need to cross the finish line of life with somebody else. You have to bring people with you or it means nothing. Life is all about relationships. Third, you have the race of accomplishments and excellence. We give too many trophies these days just for showing up and that's not right. You were made for more. You were created for greatness. Whatever you do in life should be done with all your might. Compete against yourself and be the best you can be. You want to accomplish something in life and it is not all about making money. Whatever you are, be the best at what you do. You get one shot at life … that's it. When you realize you get one shot and you need to do your best all the time, then your life is forever changed. When you die, you don't take possessions with you. Did you leave a legacy? Did you make an impact on people? Did you change the world for the better? Did you help people? If you can say yes to all those things, then you have won at life. Find every possible way you can to help people. Run your race in an excellent way. Don't shoot for the minimum effort. Challenge yourself. Four, there is the race of eternity. When you die, there will be a test. You want to make sure that you are ready for that test when the time comes. If you lose the race of integrity, relationships, excellence and the "big race" you will lose it all. How about running to win? Let's all run to win so that when the final test is in front of us, we will hear the good news that we made the most of what we were blessed with in our life.

EP32: The Importance of Character in Leadership
MOVE Podcast with Brian Biggers Andy Albright introduces Lamb's Chapel pastor Brian Biggers in Episode 32 of MOVE, highlighting a keynote speech given by Biggers at #LeadCon16 at The Alliance's headquarters in Burlington, N.C. on July 22, 2016. Biggers spoke about leadership and the impact it has on the world and the people around you. What is it that makes great leaders? There are common denominators in leaders, and they are simple foundational stones that allow people to be great for a long time. Talent and giftedness will get you there, but character will keep you in a leadership role. People will always follow character. They will be loyal to you and love you when you have great character. Character is defined as doing the right thing, period. It means having character all the time. We live in a moral universe. We have natural laws and there are character rules that govern the universe. Leaders are servants of other people and believe in servanthood. The greatest leader to ever walk the Earth said I didn't come to be served, I came to serve others. When you serve people, others will follow you. When you have a servant's heart, people will want to help you and they will be loyal to you and love you. When you show people that you appreciate them then you will be rewarded for it. If you want people to follow you, all you have to do is serve them. Do not despise the day of new beginnings. We all start leading by doing small things first and getting them right. If you are faithful over the little things then you can work up to being a greater and bigger leader. Leaders have great vision. They have personal vision. They have vision for others. They see bigger things that are years from happening. When there is no vision, the people will perish. Work hard to be a visionary in all you do. What is your vision for success? Have you written it down yet? What does success look like to you? Write it down. Come up with your personal vision and keep it simple enough that a child can understand it. Your vision can drive you. You also need to have a vision for your family. Relationships trump income. You have to have a vision for your family or being successful means nothing. If you are married, you have to have a vision for your marriage. Don't fail to plan and put your vision into motion. You have to have a vision for you, your family, your marriage, your business, etc. Be precise, be intentional and be clear about what you are doing with your life and where you are going in your business and career. You can't do 90 things well or even five. Find one area and get really great at doing it. Serve people, but be focused and purpose driven in all that you do. Don't let somebody else write your story. If it is your vision, you will be driven to do it. Make sure when you get old that you look back and know that you got it right. Nobody is successful by accident. Character will help you get there and it will keep you there. A vision will nail you to where you want to be. It can't be an accident. It has to be on purpose.

EP31: 5 Ways to Stay Positive - Be The Seed!
The following audio is a track on Andy's new audio CD titled "5 Ways to Stay Positive" that can be purchased in The Alliance store. Are you positive? I encourage you to be a seed of positivity. A seed is little bitty. Pretend you are little bitty. The smallest seed that keeps growing eventually becomes big! A seed is perfectly capable of growing. All that seed needs is the right environment. It needs soil, water and sun. That's all it needs. Do you have the right environment to be that little seed that grows big? Are you listening to the right audio? Are you around the right people? Are you reading the right books? Are you putting the right stuff in your life? Are you working to increase your capacity to grow? You can help improve your chances for success by making sure you are in the right environment to grow. Be a seed and grow! Most people "see" why they can't grow. A seed starts growing now and figures out how to get to the top. Start growing … bloom where you are. Don't wait for the right opportunity to come along. Don't wait. Too many people want to be picked up and placed exactly where they need to be. Don't do that. Start growing like a seed. Most think they can't do something instead of thinking they can. Do it in as many areas as possible. Say "I Can" not "I Can't." Start saying, I can and I am going to find out how I can grow more. You have to say "I can" and ask yourself, "How can I do more?" Stop focusing on what you are doing right and work on improving in areas where you are not doing so hot. If you think you are doing everything right, then it is going to be hard to help you grow. Stop thinking that you have it all figured out and work on getting better. A seed is resilient. They can bounce back from more than people realize. When something bad happens, you need to get up as fast as possible. Don't wallow and waste away when you face an obstacle or challenge. Get up and move on. Think of ways you can do things better in your life. Keep asking and learning about things. That will help you improve. Keep asking how you can change, how you can do more and how you can improve. These questions will help you improve your life: What can I do better? How can I change? What am I not doing that I should be doing? How can I make things better? Keep asking yourself those questions and keep working on improving and learning.

EP30: How To Build Team Builders FAST!
Andy Albright hosted this week's NAActivity Call and it was so good that Andy wanted it to be featured on his MOVE podcast. The topic is: How you can build a massive organization that changes lives. People make the mistake of talking about what they are doing instead of asking more successful people what they are doing to be successful. Asking questions is important. You will get better when you operate by asking how to get better than telling other people how successful you are. The Alliance knows that we need more Team Builders to help more people be successful. How do you create more TBs faster? The way to build a massive team is by finding people who can reach Team Builder and developing them into leaders. The fastest way to make money faster with The Alliance is to sell something. The fastest way to get promoted is to hire somebody to sell something. Ideally, you do both of them and then you get an explosion! Don't let other people's problems impact your behavior. You can't fix everybody's problems. Stay focused on what you are doing. Make your work the most important thing. When you stay focused on YOU then you will be more successful. You can help other people, but you have to still do what you need to do. We don't judge people. We give everybody the same shot. Now, if people aren't doing the right things, we don't "waste" valuable time with those people. You don't have enough time to waste it on people who aren't doing what they should to be successful.

EP29: Remembering Ali, 'the greatest of all time!'
In this episode of MOVE, Andy Albright talks about Muhammad Ali, boxing legend and one of the most famous people in the world, who passed away at age 74 on Friday night. What an incredible life Ali lived. He was controversial. People loved him or hated him. However, make no mistake, people from all walks of life respected Ali and the fact that when he made up his mind, he stuck to his guns. He was the definition of commitment. In Andy's second book, Millionaire Maker Manual, he wrote about Ali and how he became such a superstar in the early 1960s. Below you can read part of what Andy wrote in a section of the book titled "Talk the Talk." Andy ran across a story about Muhammad Ali, and how he thought he was confident in his abilities entering a boxing match until he heard the professional wrestler Gorgeous George Wagner, a champion in the 1940s, 50s, and early 60s, talking about an upcoming "bout" in Las Vegas many years ago. Ali, who was 19 at the time, was blown away by Wagner, who was then 46. Ali and George were both on a radio show promoting their respective events. Ali was confident and told the host he was going to beat Duke Sabelong, a tall, big Hawaiian fighter at the time. Ali told them he was sure he would win, but it was spoken in a sort of "matter of fact" manner. Nothing over the top and nothing that would be considered controversial or headline news in today's world. When Ali was finished, they turned to Wagner and asked him about his match. Wagner grabbed the microphone and started shouting, screaming, and bouncing around the studio like a mad man. He deemed himself to be the "greatest wrestler in the world." He was talking about tearing "Classy" Freddie Blassie's limbs off, "killing" the guy, and how he would cut off his own "beautiful blond" hair if he lost this match with Blassie. Now, boxing's "Greatest Of All Time" is shocked. He cannot believe Wagner's antics. Ali was fired up to see this match just based on the "promo" Wagner just cut for the radio show. Well guess what? Ali did go see the match. The arena was packed. Thousands of people showed up to see Wagner – including the heavyweight champion of the world. Want to guess what happened? An arena of 15,000 watched Wagner beat Blassie. They showed up to see Wagner get beat because he was talking. After the match, Wagner told Ali that people will always pay to see someone shut your mouth. He told Ali to keep bragging, keep on sassing, and to always be outrageous. Ali admitted to people that he started boasting about his triumphs before fights thanks to Wagner, who was often referred to as "the man you love to hate." But, Ali took it to a higher level, when he started rhyming about what round he would "finish" off opponents in. It was not just Ali that had picked up on Wagner's genius. James Brown, the "Godfather of Soul" also admitted that he took notes and promoted his talents in music in the same manner that Wagner did with wrestling and Ali did with boxing. Brown wrote in his 2005 book, "I Feel Good: A Memoir in a Life of Soul" that Wagner helped "create the James Brown you see on stage." Singer Bob Dylan also credited Wagner with changing his life. In his book "The Chronicles: Volume One," Dylan talked about meeting Wagner. "He winked and seemed to mouth the phrase, 'You're making it come alive.' I never forgot it. It was all the recognition and encouragement I would need for years." Professional wrestling might not be real, but Wagner being credited with shaping the careers of three icons is! From that point on, Ali's approach to things changed. He was never shy even when he was known as Cassius Clay growing up in Kentucky, before converting to Islam and changing his name. Ali started talking more. He talked a lot more. He talked so much that fighters like George Foreman, Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and Ken Norton nicknamed Ali "The Louisville Lip." Ali had realized he had to do more than just fight. He had to talk the talk and walk the walk. He had a responsibility to make people want to watch him compete and fight. His interviews sparked debate and made people care about what happened in the ring. They would convince their friends to watch and take an interest. It was like starting a wild fire in a forest. The excitement would build and millions watched Ali and loved his persona. These days it is called good "PR," but it was like nothing people had seen back then. Ali just called it "talking." By talking, Ali built an audience. Soon, Ali had built up a network of promoters, endorsement deals, and was a media darling/target. Whether you liked him or not, you knew what Ali was doing, and you knew when a big fight was coming up. Ali was able to back up all the talk by performing, and that made his brand even more valuable. Ali had an OK career. He won an Olympic gold medal for the United States in the 1960 Rome Olympics, became the heavyweight champion three times during a 56-5 career, and was named "Sportsman of the Century" by Spor

EP28: You Were Made For More
You Were Made For More People need to understand that we were not put on Earth to be mediocre, rather you were made for more. Too many people live life in miserable mediocrity. I'm happy if you have indoor plumbing, a roof over your head and you are paying your bills. It's great that you have hot water, HBO, a cell phone, etc. All that is great and it means you are doing OK. However, there is a much bigger world for you to explore and it exists so that you can experience it to your full potential. Don't set the bar too low. Raise it up and try to do more. One of my favorite quotes that former NC State basketball coach Jimmy Valvano liked to say was, "Every day ordinary people do extraordinary things." He believed and that's how he lived his life. I sincerely want you to take on that mindset because you can do extraordinary things if you decide to do it. The Alliance does the "Do." We sell, recruit and build. We limit the other "stuff" because it prevents us from getting things done … NOW. One way to make sure you are focused on doing is by scheduling your minutes and hours. If you can break it down into small chunks of time and then do it when the time comes, your life will change forever. Don't just settle for good enough when you have the potential for greatness. What if you decide to become great? What if you know exactly what your purpose is and you run after it like a wild man with his hair on fire? Can you imagine the impact you could have on yourself, your family and people around you? Each life has a plan even if we don't choose to see it right now. If you can make a couple of minor adjustments then you could blow up quick with The Alliance. Now, if you want to win and win big, then you have to be on the field to make plays. Get in the game so that you have a shot to win. Imagine this: what if you got less cynical as you got older? Most people get more cynical. Focus on the positive and keep turning it on so you keep going and doing. That's stepping up even when you don't want to. Don't meander aimlessly through this universe. We all have made mistakes in the past. Stop feeling guilty, forget about it and move on. Make up for it by doing something good right now. Believe it or not, there are people that believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Life will always test you. You have to stay the course and keep trying harder. Can you start dreaming bigger than you ever have before? Can I challenge and encourage you to start dreaming bigger today? The more that you do now, the more you will be able to do for others sooner. It starts with imagination and belief. You can have the great life. Believe. Act. Do. Get confidence, clarity and courage when it comes to what you do on a daily basis.

EP23: Dream Big, Start Small
People talk about all the things they are going to do. They want to make a million dollars. At the end of the week, nothing has happened. Too many people have all these hopes and dreams, but they don't act on it. I'd like to encourage you to do this: Dream Big, Start Small! Start by doing one thing. When that gets done, start another task. Before you know it, bigger things will start happening. Keep working on your belief level, but get going now. Start where you are ... right now. Call somebody. Set up a meeting. Do something. Do one thing. Don't minimize the one thing. That's what holds people back. When you get the one thing done, start another thing. Do it until it becomes a habit. Watch your words. Speak the truth. Avoid drama. Don't be negative. Be mindful of everything you say. Think before you speak. It will make a huge difference in your life. Be simple. Be clear. Start making small changes. You don't have to explain everything. Don't cut out everything, but let's reduce some things we know we need to improve upon. Put things off until later. That's a great strategy to help you improve. If it can wait, then put it off until later if it is not important. Successful people don't do the little things for only a month. They keep doing it over and over. They are the people that start small with big dreams and keep going long after other people give up. If you are on this podcast then you are a lucky person. You have likely had some close calls in life. Things have happened in your life that could have turned out far worse. You bounced back and you are still trying to do the best you can. I need you to believe in yourself. Look at yourself: you are still in one piece and you are still alive. If you don't believe in yourself then why would anybody else? Take a personal inventory of the things you are thankful for. You will find out that you have plenty to be thankful for if you write it all down and think about it. It is OK to have big dreams, but start doing little actions that will help you move faster toward those goals and dreams. It all adds up over time. Is your mission believable? Do people see where you are headed and encourage you? Make sure your belief level is lining up with your actions. Is it worth it to you to make sacrifices to get the very thing you believe you want? I believe the answer is yes if you are willing to do things that other people are not.

EP22: The 10,000 Pump Challenge
I am challenging people to set a goal to have $10,000 cash in your bank account and carry another $1,000 cash in your pocket. You don't have to do this, but I am encouraging people to set this goal for the next 90 days. It is just a fun way to push yourself to being more successful in your business. Maybe you are saying, "I'm in debt, I can't save that much!" Use this little game as a way to get out of debt. It is a big goal to some people, but it can be done. The Alliance has a system in place to make a good living in a short amount of time if you are willing to do the work. If you decide to do this challenge and are successful, please let us know. We would love to hear how you did it and what it felt like!

EP20: What You Do Matters
What you do matters. People that continue doing things are more successful than people that sit on the sideline and watch. It is impossible to score in basketball if you are sitting in the stands or you are stuck on the end of the bench. People that play the game, whatever the game is, are the people who become successful. I can encourage people and offer advice on what they should do, but it boils down to a person deciding to do something. Take action or don't. There's no in between if you want to be successful. You will make mistakes and mess up? That's OK. Live in the moment. Don't rest of what you did in the past. Winners figure that out. Don't get stuck on failures. Move on. Try something else. Be an example to others of what can happen when you MOVE and focus on doing. Make a difference in people's lives, encourage people on your team to take action and make the most of every single day you are blessed with. You have all the opportunity in the world to do everything you want. How bad do you want it? Are you willing to do things that other people are not? What are you going to do today? The time is here, the time is now. Let's go!

EP20: People, Power and Potential of The Alliance
People are not perfect. I've done the research on that and it is true. I also know that people try and sometimes the right thing doesn't happen. That doesn't make them bad people. The Alliance has been built on imperfect people. We have been successful because we see the power and the potential of each other. We do our best to care about all people. I want people to be happy. I want people to give away money to charity. I want people to have nice things that they enjoy. We are a group of people that will not be afraid to say we are sorry when we mess up. We will let people know that if we mess up today then we are going to do better tomorrow. We are always going to do our best to help people and work with people that are sincere and need help. There is great power in always believing in the power and potential of people. That is something I believe and the members of The Alliance believe this too.

EP19: In The Know with Andy Albright
Do you ever think that some people just know things that most people don't? Well, they hide all the secrets of the world in books. They used to put them in buildings called libraries that were named after presidents. The reason people don't know "stuff" is that they don't seek to know more or to even understand so many basic life lessons. More than 25 years ago I started reading, listening and investing in myself through audios and books. I have continued to do it as my income has soared way past where I was when I left NC State University and took a job in a factory as an engineer. I knew that I had to keep doing the things like reading that helped me get to where I am today. The learning never stops. You have to be a life-long learner. There's always something you don't know, but that doesn't mean that you can learn. Seek to understand. Seek to learn. Seek to find as much wisdom as you can on a daily basis. As you go through life, keep learning and keep inspecting the fruit that is all around you. Don't be oblivious about what you see. Work hard to be the person in the room that everybody else seems to be "in the know."

EP18: What is next?
Do you struggle with knowing what you need to do next? Success is sometimes your biggest failure. It will mess people up. Maybe you are making $75,000 and then you stop doing what it took to reach that income level. Have you seen this in people? It can be a real problem. Some people hit a mark and then level off and stop pushing for more. Maybe it isn't income, but you stop reading or listening to audios because a person thinks they know it all and don't need to keep learning. For whatever reason, people will set a mark or goal and when they hit it they don't have a "what's next" ready to pull out when it happens. Don't let success keep you from reaching for a higher level of success.

EP17: Dogs in the Hunt with Andy Albright
One of my favorite memories as a young boy was hunting with my dad. He raised beagles so that we could be more successful when we went rabbit hunting. He loved to watch his dogs work. He would say that a dog in the hunt ain't got no fleas. I love that. I have dogs at my house and they are not hunting dogs, but when I see them chasing whatever critter has invaded their "territory" they go into hunt mode. When my dogs are in the hunt, they don't worry about anything but what they are locked in on. They don't worry about food. They don't worry about water. All they want is the animal that is bothering their world. If my dogs get something up in a tree then they will spend an entire day until something happens. Are you like a dog in the hunt when you work? Are you that serious about it? When you can get the mindset of a dog in the hunt then you are going to be far more successful in all that you set out to do.

EP16: Who Will YOU Affect?
How much time to you spend thinking about the impact you have on other people? It is very easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget about what other people are going through. We have to make an effort to consider other people in our day-to-day interactions. People need to hear positive words and they need to be encouraged. I urge you to do this so much that it becomes a habit for you and it becomes contagious to those in your world. When you can decide that you are going to make a difference in a positive way with people, the reward will be returned in spades. Beyond the feeling you will get from empowering people to be great, you will be rewarded. Who will YOU affect today? What will you say to encourage people today? Who will you greet with a hello, a handshake and a smile? Who will you verbally tell that they can do "it" whatever it is. When you do this consistently, people will remember you for the rest of their lives. They will appreciate you for being positive with them.

EP15: Do The Do with Andy Albright
One of the biggest keys to being successful in your life and in business is being able to consistently stay focused on doing the "task" at hand on a regular basis. When I am working with people I find out where they are and where they want to go. I also find out exactly what actions will help the person move in the right direction. See, if you can find out exactly what you need to do and do that then you will be more successful faster than if you are confused and not focused. The Alliance knows that we "Do the Do" and that means selling, recruiting and building. Take a few minutes to write down what tasks you need to be doing right now. Also, write down the activities or items that you need to start working on so you are not just thinking about the short-term basis. When you can get dialed in and only focus on tasks that move you toward your goals and dreams your life will be easier and you will get more done. Figure out how you can "Do the Do" to MOVE in the right direction to success! As always, please be sure to review previous podcasts and let us know what you think. See you next time!

EP14: What YOU Control - Part 2
In our last episode we covered focusing on "what you can control" in your life. You actually control your thoughts. You can control what you say. Now, things make you think a certain way about something that happens to you. It sticks with you. Your thoughts can be impacted by your experience. If you watch a scary movie, maybe you don't like being outside in the dark by yourself. Something in that movie has triggered you to think that way. The same thing happens with people and situations. You can improve the situation by choosing your words wisely. People will try to justify what they do based on the behavior of other people when they really should only worry about how what they are doing impacts them either positively or negatively. If you can change your words to be more positive, eventually you will improve your thoughts and behaviors. Think before you speak ... especially to others. What you say can help or hurt another person.

EP13: What YOU control - Part 1
Are you aware of what you can control? There are so many things that we can't do anything about and we let it tear us up. Sometimes we just need to stop and take a deep breath. It is simple, but you have to remember to do it. Have you said thank you to anybody today? Are you grateful for all you have in life? Show others you appreciate them. Focus on the good things and less on the negative. Be excited to see people. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Don't prejudge before you really know. This is a behavior that you can control. Be aware of what you say, how you stand, your mannerisms, etc. All these things are in your control. Remember, you don't know how you look until you get your picture took. Think and be more aware of your environment. Don't try to change things outside your circle that you really can't change. Don't waste your time on all the things you can't impact when you have plenty you can influence right in front of you. Don't be afraid to say thank you and I'm sorry when you need to. At the same time, you also need to keep doing the work you need to be doing. You can't let noise hold you back. Keep getting things done. Put all your energy and effort into things that you can control and stay clear of anything that you can't control. Life will be much easier when you attack it that way.

EP12: Clear Up Confusion
Do you encounter confusing situations in life? Do you need somebody to remind you of what is really going on? Listen to what people say and then watch what they do. Do their words and actions line up? If they don't, then that person has a problem. That is what confuses people. It doesn't make sense. You have to do what you say and say what you do. They have to line up. If they don't, people are not going to listen to you and they aren't going to follow you or move when you want them to move. If you are what you say you are then people will follow you. If you say you are going to make dials for four hours then you better do it. If you say you are going to be on time for an appointment, be on time! It's simple, but people need to be reminded of this. Make sure your words line up with you actions. Be very clear in what you say. Be very clear in what you do. Make sure your words and actions are the same. People will notice it and they will remember it.

EP11: Blessed-Lucky
Do you feel blessed or lucky in your life? We all have problems, but successful people keep "doing the do." They might seem lucky, but they also put themselves in position to be successful. I want to be what I call blessed or lucky. It isn't all about skill. Yes, you have to be present and make an effort, but there are other factors that I like to call "Who luck" that impact how your life goes. What people are you around the most? Do you work to get around people that are where you want to be? How excited you are about what you are trying to accomplish makes a difference when you are trying to inspire others. Do you have big dreams and goals? That is what inspires people to do great things. How big your "why" is matters a lot. Movements start with one person not the masses. If you are going somewhere, are you taking people with you? Be a river not a pond! The world needs leaders that can help start a movement. Movement and action are critical to success. When a person starts moving, other people take notice and follow that person. Movements change the way people think, act and live. Think, speak and act! How many people can you get to make a decision that they are going to get the job done? When you start getting people thinking and speaking differently, their actions will change too. Think, believe, and act!

EP10: Are YOU Growing?
Are you happy where you are? That's OK, but make sure that you are pushing to be better. A tree grows until it can't grow anymore, so why should you be any different? Max out your capacity. Keep growing. Keep striving to be better. It will make your life better and you will be happier. Are you continually challenging yourself?

EP09: How To Leave A Legacy
I’m quite sure that every star faces opposition. People say you can’t do it. They probably even questioned themselves at some point. It is hard to block out the critics and not letting it hinder you as an artist. Hey, with all the social media these days it is even tougher not to get bogged down by naysayers. It can lead to bad motion and keep you distracting from doing what you know you have to do. Even when you make it, you have to remember how you made it and keep doing it over and over. I made it a point to watch these young artists and how they carried themselves. Most of them are fighting just to pay their bills each month. Many of them have been told they can’t make it by people that are family and friends. Some quit and get “real jobs.” Then, there are the ones that keep working and don’t listen to the outside negative noise. I noticed the drive and dreams they have and I see how hard they are pushing to make it happen. They are all in. They are fully committed. They want to leave a lasting legacy. Human beings naturally want approval from others. Sometimes, however, you can’t worry about what other people think. You have to do what is best for you even when you don’t want to. That’s what it takes to reach your goals and dreams. The greatest don’t rest when they make it either. They keep working and improving. That’s the ultimate goal. To keep going when others would give up or be content with what they’ve done. That’s how you leave a legacy. We want to make such an impact that people will be talking about us 30 years from now. I want to be legendary, I want YOU to be legendary and I want our team to be legendary so that we leave a legacy for the next several generations.

EP08: Urgent and Aggressive
People that move are more successful. When you see a person that is aggressive and has a sense of urgency about them are more likely to be successful than a person who likes to sit back and watch their surroundings like a movie or television show. Are you urgent and aggressive? Are you anticipating things that need to happen before it is too late? Start thinking about what you can do now before it becomes something you have to do. Call it staying ahead of the curve. Don't worry about mistakes because they will happen if you are trying to do great things. People who never take a shot aren't awesome. They aren't even in the game. Get in the game, take shots, make things happen. It will pay off for you in the end. Get after it!

EP07: What Successful People Do
Successful people know they are not perfect and they don't try to be. They wake up every day and decide to do more than the day before. The past can't be changed. Focus on the present, focus on the now. Wake up and get moving. Yes, it is tough. Deal with it. Accept it. Focus on the things you have control over. Wake up and work. Get after it. Show people how great you can be every chance you get.

EP06: Big Faith
My belief in God is extremely high. I think something greater than me built me. We are all put on Earth for a reason. Who we become is a gift of thanks to our maker for the life we have been given. You have an opportunity to work and do great things daily. Are you making the most of what you have been blessed with?

EP05: Dream Bigger!
Are your dreams big enough? Do you have more goals in mind already? You have to set the bar higher than you think in order to push yourself to get to the next level. When you have a big dream, you will always do more than if you set the bar low. You will get more results by having a bigger dream than the average man. Sit down, write down your goals and make an action plan to start working toward them.

EP04: You Can't Be Perfect
Did you know that you can't be perfect? It's not possible. You can't do the right thing 100 percent of the time. You are going to mess up. That's OK. You have to learn from it and move on. Get over it and start doing something positive that you need to do. We don't have time to dwell on it. Let things go! Start doing what you are supposed to be doing ... NOW! Get focused on what you have to do. Stay focused. Stay on task. Get things done.

EP03: 3 Things To Complete A Task
We all face obstacles or what I like to call challenges. Hey, that’s what life is: a series of challenges. It happens every day. When you are facing something or you have a problem you are dealing with, you can do three simple things to help find a solution. Maybe you want something. Maybe you are about to lose something. Either way, there are three things you must do. This is simple and it will change your life. Those three things will make all the difference in the world. When you’re in a situation, you’ve got a project you need to accomplish, when you are upside down and somebody’s on you, when you are facing insurmountable odds, those three things are what you need to always think about. Whatever it is, you use those three things and it will help tremendously. This is big and life changing even though it sounds simple. That’s how I think and that’s how I operate. I check my thinking by asking people. I find something in a book that applies to what I’m dealing with and trying to accomplish. I figure out what action or move can I do right now that will help me in that moment. Every second counts. Not every minute, but every split second. You don’t have time to think about what you CAN’T do. It’s what CAN I do. Can you go to your calendar and see what you have going on? Can you open up a book and read a little? Can you use prayer to help? Can you do ANY of that? Ask yourself this: Who has done what you are trying to get done before you that you can call and get advice from? Do you know somebody who knows that person? Do you know a person who has seen it happen before? Can you call them? What can you do? Do you know a smart person who has dealt with a lot of stuff before that can help you? What can you do? Let’s get on it. I have never had a situation where reading a book didn’t help. It 100 percent helps to read things in books. There are answers in books. People call me all the time and they are very upset about different things. Life is tough sometimes and I understand that. We all have challenges we are dealing with. Our first move is to calm down and talk it out. One great way to help the situation is by using books to address the problem and work through it. You are not in a thinking position. You are in an emergency position, a goal-setting program where you are trying to hit the mark. The best way to fix the problem is by thinking about what you can do, what book can you read and who can you call. That’s how you can get from the situation you are in to where you want to be.
