There will be times in your life as a Christian that you will ask the simple butcomplex question to GOD, And Why GOD? This simple but complicated questioncomes when things are happening in your life that makes absolutely no sense at all.This question comes to your mind and out of your mouth when the inconceivableis or has taken place and it appears for no reason especially due to your living thelife that GOD has asked you to live. Not perfect but one in obedience faith, andpurposeful, as asked of you by GOD, and then the unthinkable comes to your frontdoor. At that moment all you can think of saying is And Why LORD is thishappening to me, to us? In our message today we will see people like yourselfasking the same question to GOD, due to the situation and circumstances they findthemselves in, even though they haven’t forsaken, turned away, haven’t goneastray, spread their hands towards another god nor forgotten Almighty GOD.

Is There Just One WednesdayGOD is looking down from heaven on all of us, HE is looking and seeking to find some, a few, or just one who HE can trust, speak to, share HIS word with, call upon, give a vision to implant a dream in, send to the King, used to deliver HIS people, use to walk on water, or open a business that can employ others, give resources to - to build what HE needs to build. GOD is looking down to find someone, anyone who is seeking HIM and can understand. I ask to have you positioned yourself to be one of the few. I believe GOD is asking this question to you and me. Are there any who understands? What’s your answer to HIS question. Is it Here am I LORD or something else. HIS next question to you and I is this. Are there any who seek me? Again, I ask you what your answer to HIM is? Is it Here am I LORD or something else. I ask you today are you the one that GOD can find at this time to use in a mighty way. Where it’s not about you but about HIM, us and others. Because so many people want to make it all about themselves, let me tell you that is not who GOD is looking for, HE is looking for the unselfish, the humble and the faithful. I believe this is the kind of person GOD is looking down from Heaven trying to find, to impart HIS Word in and use in a mighty way in these days and times of the fools and foolish. GOD is looking for just one.

GET UP & GET GOING WEDNESDAYI know a lot of people are hurt, confused, upset and have a lot of questions about why and how.Why did this happen and how did this happen! We must understand that people have differentthought, idea and agendas. Some look at the small picture and how can it benefit me as somelook at the larger picture how can it benefit the majority. The self-benefits have spoken, and it iswhat it is. What I say to you is don’t get consumed with the news, the chatter and the chaos tocome. You can be in the world, but you don’t have to be of it, separate yourself from all the noisethat will come and has been disseminating over social media. This is a time for you to focus onyourself, your true friends, family and your inner circle and of course GOD. And please allowme to say this too you, I hear many people asking how could GOD allow this to happen. Pleaseunderstand GOD gives each man free will and does not make you do what you don’t want to do.Let’s look at it from this perspective let’s say you are stuck on a sinking boat and all of a suddenyou see a helicopter coming and it stops to rescue you, and you wave it off, then another boatcomes by and they come over to rescue you and you wave them on saying I’m good. Because inyour mind you are waiting for GOD. Well, GOD sent two vessels to save you, but you chose tostay on a sinking boat. And eventually your boat sinks and you drown. Understand HE placedtwo good options in front of you and you decided to choose the one with the worst outcome.Well, that was a choice that you made to stay on a sinking boat that led to your demise. Well, inthis election GOD placed two good options in front of the American people Harris and Walz,good decent, respectful, with morals and values. People who would do what was right to helpsave America. But the people chose the worst outcome and they will have to live with theconsequences. So, just as the person on the boat had a choice, so did America. GOD placed goodoptions in front of the people, and they decided to choose the opposite. The worst possiblechoice. So, how is that GOD, that was the American people’s choice, and they will have to livewith their choice. What I say to you who did not choose this craziness and chaos, don’t allow itinto your life, tune it out, turn it off (the television) and live your life in peace. Let them have thechaos and you chose the calm. Because when it is all said and done my bible says no weaponformed against me shall prosper, HE did not say it would not be formed HE promised it wouldnot prosper nor touch a hair on your head. So, I say focus your attention on whatever is true,whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think and focus on those things. And continue to leadyou as you continue to Get Up and Get Going.

Don't Get Frustrated Wednesday Spiritual Frustration is not abnormal, it is part of the Christian Journey. I know in this last week of the election season, angst will come, angushiness will come, uncertainty will come, frustration will probably come if it has not come already. But I want to reassure you that GOD is still in control and has this situation under control, all you have to do is trust HIM. So, don't get frustrated nor get upset with your fellow Americans as they spread lies, deceit, hatred and divisiveness, GOD will have HIS way in the end. So, my fellow Christian's, I know you wanted GOD to move in your time and because HE hasn't many find yourselves frustrated by all of this, I ask you to stay the course GOD will show up and show out in HIS time for all to see. Amen.

HE’s Walking with us WednesdayWe do not serve a GOD who does not sympathize with what we go through in our daily lives. We do not serve a god that sits on a shelf that we must move around, a god that walks in a field in the form of a calf, nor a god that is a statue. We serve a GOD that has walked in the footprints and footsteps that we have and are walking through here on earth. Therefore, HE understands every little thing that we encounter in our lives, because HE encountered them too. Ridicule, hatred, rejection, betrayal and the lack of grace but HE still showed HIMSELF to be GOD and above it all. That is why when we go through trials, tribulation, hurt, hardships and heartache HE is there for us. To walk with us, weep with us and do for us whatever needs to be done to bring us to peace, joy, and wholeness.In our message today we can see JESUS’ love for Mary, Martha, and Lazurus. As we can also see the love, commitment, obedience and trust they each had in HIM. The same attributes that we as believers need to display in our Christian Journey, in our moments of need and hard times. As the message speaks of the trust, maturity, commitment and obedience of Martha and Mary showed towards JESUS in route to the miracle they received from JESUS. Christians today must get rid of the surface level faith, kindergarten behavior and the juvenile commitment to GOD. There comes a point in a person’s life that they cannot be doing at 54 years old what they were doing at 25 years of age. One had to evolve, mature, and grow up. It’s time for Christians to begin developing an up close and personal relation with GOD and not to continue to do what they’ve always done. I say do something different, be different so you can receive different from GOD. I don’t understand why people are happy with the ordinary, the mundane, and the same ole stuff. Don’t you want something more from your relationship with GOD. So, you can do more for the LORD, so in turn HE can do more with, through and to you. Mary, Martha and Lazarus had a do more relationship with GOD. Do you?

Stay The Course WednesdayFATHER, it’s painful, it’s difficult, and I’m tired FATHER! I never knew that it would be this tough, I never knew I would go through all of this, I never knew I would not feel YOUR presence here with me, I never knew I would feel forsaken. But despite all that I am feeling I’ll Stay (The Course)! This is the conversation that I imagined might have happened as I read of JESUS’ crucifixion. As I try to picture HIM hanging on the cross, giving HIS life up for you and me. All of this after a severe beating, with blood pouring from HIS wounds and pain flowing through HIS Body, He endured it all and said I’ll Stay, not words from HIS mouth but by HIS actions. Do you know JESUS with all his deity, divinity and power could have summoned a legion of angels to assist if HE so desired. Mt 26:53. But we see JESUS freely accept HIS assignment for the greater good of others at the expense or sacrifice of HIMSELF.So, wherever GOD has you at this present time, whatever GOD has you doing at this moment, whatever assignment HE has bestowed on you, and it doesn’t feel good, it’s difficult, you feel alone, GOD doesn’t seem to be with you anymore. Allow me to say this to you, you can do it, you can achieve it, you can make it, you can overcome it, you can have the victory over it, you can get through it, to it whatever GOD has for you. All you must do is stay the course, don’t give up or give in. You already have the victory in CHRIST JESUS and like CHRIST JESUS. If you will let GOD know I’ll Stay The Course! If you take one step to understand and be assured, HE will help you with the rest. Stay the Course you got it.

A Loosen Your Grip Wednesday I once heard an old southern man say a closed hand doesn’t receive and a closed mouth doesn’t get fed. I would like to add that a closed mind doesn’t expand, a hard heart doesn’t accept, and a scared person doesn’t step out in faith. Do you know GOD knows and hears your thoughts, conversations and knows your heart, HE listens to your ideas, you’re murmuring and things you say while in your poverty or lack. Only to sometimes test to see if you would do what you say you would do, with trusting you with a little. Often these tests come in small acts of expected kindness, giving, sharing and sacrifices. Placing someone in need of something and seeing if you would provide. Simply leaving a tip for a waitress or a maid that needs a few dollars to buy some medicine for his/her child and you fail to leave a $10 tip for the maid cleaning your hotel room as GOD has placed in your heart to do so. GOD may not be able to trust you, because your hands are closed. HE sometimes tests you at a checkout counter, when someone is short of money to pay for their groceries and you’re in line behind them and instead of you saying I’ll pay the difference for you, you remain silent and become a spectator in that person’s shame or humiliation. Standing there with more than you need and able to assist but you don’t, but what you do decide to do is text, tweet or IG about it instead! GOD may not be able to trust you, because your hands are closed, heart is closed, and you possess a mean spirit. I believe GOD in those moments where it’s just you and the situation or should I say opportunity to assist someone in need. Your actions then shows GOD your ability and HE judges and blesses you accordingly to what you have shown in those times…And I know many of you will come back with well GOD knows my heart, and my answer to them is yes HE does you showed it to HIM in that very moment, HE placed you there to be an ambassador for HIM, a blessing to someone else, you chose to be selfish, stingy and harmful as opposed to being helpful. . Because you weren’t willing to help someone who was in need… HE knows and sees the stinginess of your heart… You showed it- therefore HE knows it.Scripture says GOD loves a cheerful giver, so when the opportunity presents itself and at GOD’s direction Invest freely and cheerfully as GOD leads you to do so. Open your hand and allow GOD to flow blessing through you. Not just for you but for others as well. Loosen grip allows you to be faithful over a little, positioning you to be set over much” Trust is gained…Faith is grown…Blessing begins to flow when you are good stewards over what GOD has given you and you are willing to assist others in times of need. Amen

Hold Up Wednesday Do you know or have you realized that untested faith is unreliable faith? It is not until your faith is tested in fire (trials, tribulations, and test) that we truly know if we believe in what we profess. I am a fond believer that faith and Christian character is not forged in feathers, when everything is going well, no worries, no attacks, and no test, but they are forged in the testing of your faith and actions. Just as it requires much heat to burn the impurities out of gold and make its true luster and shine to come forth. WE as followers and believers are the same as the gold that is being refined and defined: it sometimes requires extreme heat for out imperfections to be burned away and our real identity as a mature Christian to come to the surface. Scripture reminds us “Consider it pure joy, my brother’s, whenever your face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. “ (James 1:2-4). In today’s message we focus on if you truly want to be used by GOD in a mighty way and receive all GOD has for you going thru trials and staying the course during the refinement process is a must and part of your journey. I simply ask you this question about your faith: “Will It Hold Up (When Tested)? Don’t answer too soon, your test maybe right around the corner!

Who Will Be There WednesdayThey all claimed to love HIM, but John left HIM, Peter denied HIM, Thomas doubted HIM, Judas betrayed HIM, and the rest didn’t even take time to show up for HIM. Despite all that HE had done for and with them. In today’s churches we all claim to love HIM but one of you reading this and willing to take a few minutes of your time to listen to our message; has left HIM, another has denied HIM, one more of you have doubted HIM, even another has betrayed HIM, and mass of people have not even bothered to show up for HIM (at church) despite all that HE has done in their lives. Do you know this is the stark reality of JESUS’ life in the past as well as in the present time we are living in today. Denied, doubted, betrayed, no shows, and outright forgotten about at times. I will make this short and to the point, are you one of the aforementioned people or are you different. If you say different in which ways, are you so different from the others? Are you working for JESUS, are you operating in your purpose, have you answered the call to fulfill your calling, are you bringing people to CHRIST, are you spreading the Gospel, are you helping the less fortunate, are you giving of yourself to the betterment of others, do you have a testimony better yet does GOD have a testimony that HE can share up in heaven about all you are doing here on earth? GOD has always been there for you, can you honestly say today, you are here for HIM? I am just a messenger with no judgement! GOD is the judge so judge yourself accordingly.

It’s an” In YOU” WednesdayMany times, as human beings we place our trust in other humans. Let me say a flawed individual places their trust in another equally or more flawed person. What sense does that make now that I have spoken it out loud. I’m a sinner saved by grace and flawed, and I’m putting my trust in another sinner saved by grace and flawed as well. And we wonder why some many people are walking around disappointed, upset, mad, and with trust issues. Allow me to say this: let your first cry out be to GOD, let you first seek to be towards GOD and HIS council for your answers. Let your first satisfying your every need be geared towards GOD. Let the first mending of a broken be geared towards GOD. All I’m saying is make GOD your first choice not your last resort. After you’ve gone to everyone else for answers, help and healing. And don’t find it whereas all along it was right there in front you at your fingertips in the form of GOD your loving FATHER. WHO has promised to meet all your needs. Answer all your prayers and save you when you cry out to HIM. Understand it is in GOD we receive all things.

A Knowing What You Deserve Wednesday Do you know most Christians don’t know who they are, what they deserve, or what GOD desires to give them. And with lack of knowledge of the promises GOD has promised them, and HE has for them, many have been tricked into believing that a GOD of abundance who walks on streets of gold and has gates made of pearls (Rev 21:21) wants his children broke, busted and disgusted. Living in lack, poverty, scarcity, and not enough. What Glory does GOD get from HIS children living in poverty and lack, whereas the enemy and his children living their best lives. I ask why would GOD have you living worst as a saved child of HIS than you did when you were a sinner and far away from HIS presence? I can answer that for you, HE doesn’t! GOD desires HIS children to be blessed and living a good prosperous life, right here on earth--right now.I ask this how many of you would listen to an intelligent homeless man or woman? Not many. But how many would listen to a supposedly rich fool? 70 million! GOD knows that more people will listen to the uplifted and the elevated than to the lowly and downtrodden. So, why would he want HIS children downtrodden as opposed to elevated with a voice of truth and a message of the Cross for the world to see. HIS children are the light of the world but if a light is dim no one can see it. And poverty and lack brings about a dimly lit light. Because poverty brings about depression, doubt, discouragement, destitution, detriment, dire, disconcertment, discord, disparity, displacement, distractions, distress, dread, debt, dismay and detriment. all stemming from the devil, and what light can shine brightly in those conditions. I ask you as I leave you with this thought when did GOD ever bless someone with lack, poverty, or depravity in the bible? Let me answer that for you-- HE never did! Poverty is a curse not a blessing! And as a child of GOD don’t you let anyone fool you or trick you into saying that it is, many times people have tried to use the bible to justify and validate their wrongs, as they did in the past to justify slavery. Therefore, don’t allow them to use the trick of lack and poverty in the same manner for you. I want you to understand, believe, and know GOD desires more for you as a Christian and you deserve more as a Child of a KING! And that is to live a life worthy of a KING’s Child.

A Call in Need WednesdayIn our message today we see David is in a situation and in need of help. In the main text we read that he did not attempt to wake anyone in the house if there was someone in the house or tent with him, to talk about this thing that was bringing about stress, anxiety and worry in his life. He did not try to get on the phone and call anyone, even though there weren’t any back then, but work with me, he didn’t try whatever the mode of communication was back then. He didn’t do what many today would do, he didn’t text a friend, didn’t post his problem on Facebook, didn’t put his issue on Instagram, didn’t stick his situation on Snapchat, nor did he send out tweets on X pretending everything was good when he was going through hell. But quite the contrary we see him making one call to the ONE who could help him out of his present situation.You know it befuddles me how so many people will call on everybody in their contact list on their phones, leaning on all the people on their Facebook page they don’t know at all nor how they became friends on the platform or anyone else who is willing to listen. Before they call on GOD, it behooves me! Someone please explain that to me, I just don’t understand it. Calling on people who have more problems than you do. It’s like asking advice about marriage from your friend who has never been married or another one who has been divorced 3 times. I’m not sure if I want their advice about the subject of marriage. Or your single friend who doesn’t have a man, can get a man or keep one when she does meet someone-about relationship advice. That’s like asking the devil how to get saved! As you will hear in this message there is one call to ONE person in your time of need that can make all the difference in your situation, circumstances, and in your life. “Then I called on the name of the LORD: “LORD, save me! Allow me to write that again…. Then I called on the name of the LORD: “LORD, save me!” And the LORD saved him. In his anguish he called GOD! I ask you this simple question; who are you calling in your time of need?

Unless GOD and Apart from HIM Wednesday In our main text Solomon is speaking and informing his audience that whatever they do unless GOD is in it -it won’t work. Unless GOD be with you, Unless GOD directs, Unless GOD instructs you, Unless GOD guides you, Unless GOD counsels you, Unless GOD favors you, Unless GOD is with you, all you do is in vain. How many of you are laboring in vain as we speak; toiling day and night rising earlier staying up late worrying in vain and to no avail. Feeling like you’re running in quicksand or on a treadmill…Unless GOD is a part of what you’re doing, you’re making your task harder for yourself. Because everything that can come against you will come against you. Every problem that can arise will arise, every devil that can show up will show up, every demon, every spirit, every negative friend, negative issue will arise it ugly head in your situation. But please be reminded if GOD before you HE is more than the world against you-but how can HE before you if you haven’t not called upon HIM, to be there for you. I will leave you with this stay connected to GOD always, keep your Unless GOD builds it, Unless GOD watches over It and Apart from HIM I can do nothing -Fresh in your heart, and in your mind if you do just know GOD will help you do great things. Because GOD desires to be a part of all that you do. HE doesn’t want you laboring in vain…. HE wants us to be fruitful and successful with HIM in whatever we do… Amen

A Downsizing Less is More WednesdayDo you know and understand GOD’s math is addition by subtraction. Let me explain that by subtracting from GOD is adding too. Subtracting to add. Whereas man’s is addition by addition…The more the merrier for man, but GOD’s motto is less is more-Two fish and five loaves fed the multitudes. HE made more out of less; GOD can do more with less in your life than most can do with more. The Glory to and the Power of GOD comes forth when HE uses, takes, elevates, calls, and chooses and uses less to get more done as opposed to using more and getting less done I know that sounds like a foreign concept to most, but walk with GOD for a while and you will see and experience HIS method and mode of operation. In today’s message you will see and hear this dynamic taking place right in front of our eyes, and in Gideon’s life.

A What’s Your Desire-Wednesday When GOD has placed HIS Word within you and in your hearts, there’s no hiding place, it’s not something you can keep secret. It (the Word), HE (GOD), and the HOLY SPIRIT that resides within won’t allow you to hide it or keep it a secret. As the Psalmist says “I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. That’s what GOD desires for us to speak about what HE has done, HE will do, HE is doing and has done to all that will listen. Understand this is what GOD desires for you to do- share and spread the GOD News! That is why you study, why HE writes HIS Word in your heart, why the HOLY SPIRIT brings back to your remembrance what you have learned and been taught. To bring others to CHRIST but also council, console, empower uplift, and bring hope to the hopeless, homeless, the helpless and hurting. Really share with anyone who is willing to listen in the great assembly (The World) … It is what you should desire because in desiring it you are doing GOD’s will in your life. Let me leave you with this thought, GOD says Delight yourself in the LORD and HE will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4- if you make HIM your desire, HE will give your desires. Amen

A Hard Message WednesdayThere are things that are required when you have been elevated to a leadership role: self-control, doing what is right, not taking advantage of those you oversee, have power over or less fortunate than yourself or Ones who are depending on you. In the text David violates each and every one of those aforementioned things.  If GOD is about to elevate you, given you a vision or assignment that will have you overseeing or supervising others Be moral, be righteous, be selfless and don’t try to exploit the ones GOD sent you to help and lead. In the text David exploited, abused and misused his power and committed adultery as well as murder. But as I said no bad or awful deed like this goes unpunished by GOD

Who LORD Wednesday“Who Shall Dwell on Your Holy Hill? O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.” Psalms 15:1-5The question has been asked, it's up to you to answer it. I say judge yourself accordingly!

Stepping Into 2024 WednesdayDo you know in your Christian Journey your steps are tracked, counted, ordered and made secured by the ONE who is able to do all things.Know this Truth HE is doing so from our inception to our death our steps are being tracked. The mishaps, the mistakes, the near messes, the triumphs, the failures, the disappointments, the sidesteps, the late-night creeps and our steps to places you know you weren’t supposed to be, and the BC were all tracked too. Every day HE is watching us as we walk closer to our promise or backtrack from it. Don’t allow anyone to condemn you, demean you, talk bad about you because you may have trip, stumbled or fallen on your Christian journey. That doesn’t mean your steps are not still ordered that GOD is still not counting and tracking your steps, it doesn’t mean HIS angel, or HIS Eyes have left you. Your fall gives you more depth to your message, more meaning, more firsthand experience and knowledge in order to help someone else with the lived message! If by chance you've fallen in 2023 it's time to get back up and keep stepping in 2024. You can’t stop you have things to see, people to meet, dreams to fulfill, promises to get, and blessing to collect.
