The Alignment Show Ep. 57 with Angelique Liles

You don't have to be in a bad place to realize it's time for a life change. Angelique Liles loved her work as leader with a top insurance company, and just realized after 18 years it was time to move on to the next step in her journey. Now, she empowers business leaders and their employees to unlock their natural talents and strengths to increase team productivity and goal clarity. We had a great conversation that will help you and literally en-courage you to not only determine your own next step, but take it.Among other resources, we discussed:* Angelique’s website* Reaching Angelique on LinkedIn (we didn’t actually discuss this, but we should have)* We mentioned the Clifton Strengths* Find Donn’s books, including his newest, Medium Well, now available in print (be careful with price, though—some retailers have it marked at an inflated price). You can catch video replays at the following links, or hear audio replays at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon podcasts, and Substack. (Note we had lots of comments shared on the screen that we couldn’t share in audio since the interview was pre-recorded, so you might want to check out one of the video replays.)* LinkedIn* YouTube* FacebookYou need this, and you probably know someone else who also needs the nudge or the encouragement.Make sure you don’t miss episode show notes or upcoming guests with equally encouraging conversations and insights. The Alignment Show Ep. 56 with Wulf Moon

Talk about following your values! Wulf Moon has known pretty much his whole life that he is a writer. But growing up in an abusive household, he didn't get support for that—far from it! His dad told him he would never be any good as a writer. Despite the challenges, he stuck with it under the encouragement of a teacher who recognized his ability. He published his first science fiction story when he was fifteen. It won the national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards–the same contest that first discovered Stephen King, Joyce Carol Oates, Peter S. Beagle, and a host of iconic names in the arts. It became his first professional sale in Science World.Since then he has won over 40 awards in writing and over 30 in public speaking, and he has shared his knowledge with the world in several forms (we will link to some below). Hear how he weathered the barriers and navigated the extreme challenges to live his values and value his life.Among other resources, we talked about:* How to Write a Howling Good Story, Wulf’s new book that distills all his writing wisdom. Read about it on his website or get it on Amazon or any of many other retailers.* Wulf’s Patreon community, Wulf Pack Writers.* Mark Leslie Lefebvre, who was a guest on The Alignment Show recently, published Wulf’s new book through Stark Publishing.* Wulf mentioned Dean Wesley Smith, a prolific writer who shepherded him around a major convention and encouraged him as a writer. Dean has written dozens of books, including Writing Into the Dark.* We briefly discussed a “hippie classic” called Das Energi by Paul Williams. You might have an interest.* Donn’s new book is out! You can get an ebook directly from him, or pick up an ebook or print edition from any number of retailers. You can keep up with all of Donn’s books as they are published at Books2Read.You can catch video replays at the following links, or hear audio replays at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeYou know someone who doesn’t get a lot of encouragement and could use a story like Wulf’s.Make sure you get show notes with relevant links, and keep track of upcoming life-changing conversations! The Alignment Show Ep. 55 with Kim Farber

What a wild ride this episode was! We had a technical glitch in the middle of the live episode because I lost power about 20 minutes in. The video replays still have the frozen moments (and what an awkward expression froze on my face!), but we edited the audio version since dead air that is “audio only” is really, really challenging to listen through. At least with the video, you can see what Kim is doing, and she handled the unexpected interruption just fine! That’s not the most important part of this episode, though. Kim Farber, the Founder of ELEVEN11 Real Estate and Academy, is dedicated to empowering others to reach their greatest potential, and you can hear that throughout our conversation. Kim is committed to sharing her knowledge, guiding others on their journey of transformation, and developing a deep connection with their authentic and highest selves. She strives to empower others to embrace their full potential and lead heart-centered lives. She impresses me as someone working in one of the most pragmatic industries (real estate) determined to practice in a way that aligns with her core values, while also helping others call forth something similar from their own hearts.Resources we discussed include:* Kim’s Real Estate website, Eleven11RealEstate.com.* Kim’s Eleven11Academy.com.* A shout out to the podcast run by Yermi Kurkus, “The Exceptionally Irresistible Show,” from which we “borrowed” a question.* The release of Donn’s new book, Medium Well: The Journey from Believing to Believing In. At showtime, the book is only available through Donn’s store at a 25% discount for the ebook. That link will continue to update as print versions become available and the ebook reverts to regular price. You can catch video replays at the following links, or hear audio replays at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* YouTube* FacebookYou know someone who could benefit from Kim’s example and encouragement.Make sure you keep up with upcoming guests and get the show notes! The Alignment Show Ep. 54 with Mark Leslie Lefebvre

I have been listening to and benefiting from Mark Leslie Lefebvre for a long time in several different roles. He has been a bookseller (yes, children, real books printed on paper and such), an author, a professional speaker, a podcaster, a corporate asset, a publisher.... He's done a lot of things! But there is a thread that runs through it all, through his own creative writing and as an enabler of other writers. We had a conversation with another of the people that I fanboy over (I hope you enjoy those as much as I do), and, in the process, shared insights that will help you live your own values.I will also say in passing that Mark exemplifies commitment. He did this episode live despite having strep throat because of his commitment—you might even say because of his commitment to commitment. I think he is the poster child for fulfulling your promises, and I appreciate that in him.Resources we talked about include:* Mark’s website, including links to all his many books* The website for Mark’s podcast, Stark Reflections (one of my three “must listen” podcasts every week)* We specifically mentioned Wide for the Win, Mark’s guide to avoiding all the actual and potential problems of putting on all your book eggs in one basket* My upcoming book release, Medium Well: The Journey from Believing to Believing In (that link will stay current for whatever is happening with the book when you read this)You can catch the video replay at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* YouTube* FacebookSomeone needs the unique encouragement of this episode, and you know who they are.Make sure you don’t miss future conversations to help you live your values to value your life. The Alignment Show Ep. 53 with Jeff West & Bob Burg

Both of these gentlemen have been on The Alignment Show before. Each is a best-selling author. Each is impressive all by himself. They have teamed up to bring forth a new business parable that combines their superpowers. This is what the Avengers would be if they were authors. We had a great conversation that delved into what brought them to this partnership. Their insights can help you in your own journey, whether in business or in personal life.Among the many resources we discussed are:* Some of Bob’s books* Endless Referrals* The Go-Giver series* Some of Jeff’s books* The Unexpected Tour Guide* Said the Lady with the Blue Hair* Their current book together, Streetwise to Saleswise* An impactful book entitled Go for No, another business parable that teaches a related mindset.* The Go-Giver Success Alliance* Jeff’s website* Bob’s website* Donn’s website* Donn’s books* The Way of the Three-Year-Old Why* First chapter of Medium Well* Medium Well: The Journey from Believing to Believing InYou can catch the video replay at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeYou know someone who could benefit from this conversation!Make sure you don’t miss upcoming episodes and always have easy access to the show notes. The Alignment Show Ep. 52 with Matthew Brackett

It's hard to put a description on Matthew Brackett. Just as a small example: he can conduct conferences in any one of three languages. He came from a small town in New England, but he has worked in leadership, educational, and consulting roles in Italy, Ireland, England, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. He served as a chaplain in the United States Navy. He is a certified coach and speaker who has completed graduate and post-graduate degrees in theology, counseling, and leadership from universities in Rome, Chile, and Pennsylvania. In an age of specialization, Matthew serves effectively as a sort of human Swiss Army knife. We had a fascinating conversation about what led him from that small town to engage a big world, and how he now uses the challenges he faced in life to help others face their own challenges. Among resources we discussed:* The many resources Matthew shares* Matthew’s websiteYou will want to bookmark those and come back—he is getting ready to launch a course that will help you to live your values and value your life.In addition, you can get the first scene of Donn’s new book that is on the verge of publishing. No obligation—see if the story grabs you! Here’s a bit about it:When Skye Jackson starts her new job at the hospital, she wants nothing more than to fit in. But she makes a startling discovery—she can communicate with comatose patients in a way no one else can. At first doubting her own sanity, Skye finds herself helping doctors understand their nonverbal patients better. But as Skye tries to make sense of her strange talent, she faces skepticism and lack of understanding. When her conversations are misunderstood, she fears she could lose not only her job but her own sense of reality. Worst of all, Skye begins to doubt herself. With no one to believe in her unique ability, Skye may betray her true potential, at the cost of her life.Medium Well is a story of self-discovery, perseverance, and learning to accept unconventional strengths. It explores what happens when one must believe not just in inexplicable events, but in one's own ability to rise above limitations, both external and internal. If you enjoyed the books Still Alice and The Vagrant, you will love Medium Well. You can catch the video replay of our conversation with Matthew Brackett at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* YouTube* FacebookYou know someone facing life’s overwhelm who would benefit from this conversation.Make sure you learn about upcoming guests and get access to show notes. The Alignment Show Ep. 51 with Anna Kantzavelos

When I joined The Go-Giver Success Alliance, the first person I met (after Bob Burg and Kathy Tagenel) was Anna Kantzavelos. She and her husband, Tony, purchased and have grown a compounding pharmacy—which may seem a strange business decision for a market dominated by chain pharmacies, but one that has enabled them to serve their customers in unique ways and connect with them on a personal level. Anna exemplifies values-based living. We had a wide-ranging conversation about how those values of family and service have shaped their lives, and how they're shaping their next chapter. Like you, Anna and Tony reached inflection points. They made decisions, took calculated risks, built on their complementary strengths, and learned.Among other things, we talked about:* Nora Apothecary, the compounding pharmacy they bought nine years ago and built into a thriving person-centered business* Anna’s LinkedIn profile, a great way to connect with her.* We mentioned 10x Is Easier Than 2x: How World-Class Entrepreneurs Achieve More by Doing Less by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy.* I couldn’t remember the name of the author whose guidance we quoted from “The Indy Author Podcast.” It was Kristina Adams, who was Matty Dalrymple’s guest on episode 225, “Right-Timing Your Release Strategy with Kristina Adams.” (To tie into our mention, Kristina is the source for the advice to evaluate your activity by asking three questions, “Is it fun? How much energy does it take? Is it making me money?”)You can catch the video replay at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeYou know someone who could use the inspiring vision Anna Kantzavelos shares.Keep up with upcoming episodes and make sure you get the show notes with useful links and join the community of people seeking to live their values to value their lives! The Alignment Show Ep. 50 with Deborah Kevin

We had such a great conversation this week with Deborah Kevin, the founder and chief inspiration officer of Highlander Press. She’s guided hundreds of authors to craft and publish impactful books they are proud of. Debby, a Stanford University’s Novel Writing program graduate, graduated in 2021 with a master’s degree in publishing from Western Colorado University, and she has used her marketing and technical skills along with her experience as a writer to bridge the gaps that authors face. The Alignment Show Ep. 47 with Harrison Stockeland

In my experience, we always have great conversations with our guests, but I have to say, “Wow!” this week. I can only imagine what it would have been like for me as a writer if I had taken the route Harrison Stockeland did in high school. Harrison is an American author whose take on the crime-thriller genre has been termed “twisted originality.” Incorporating real historical events and environments into his fiction novels is Stockeland's signature style. Though The Alignment Show isn’t particularly a writer’s show, I have to admit we geeked out a bit about the process, and whether you have any writing ambitions or not, there is solid material here to encourage anyone pursuing their own journey in whatever field! On The Alignment Show, we focus on how people identified what’s important to them and aligned their lives around that. Harrison did that quite early. We talked with him about how he discovered that at such a young age as well as the challenges facing young writers. One little tweak: since we broadcast live, I haven’t tried fo “fix” the videos on the following channels, but I did have a bit of “brain flatulence” toward the end of the episode. Despite what you might see in the video, our guest next week will be Deb Krier. We also look forward to talking with Deborah Kevin on Feb. 16.Resources we discussed include:* Harrison’s website, where you can purchase copies of either or both of his books and get signed copies.* Harrison’s LinkedIn.* Harrison’s Instagram. If you prefer getting books from Amazon, here are links to Harrison’s books:* Watch It Burn (Kindle edition)* Watch It Burn (print edition)* November’s Whisper (all editions)Interested in checking out The Way of the Three-Year-Old Why? The Alignment Show Ep. 46 with Jo Penn

Jo Penn is the perfect example of assessing what matters most and taking action to achieve that. As Joanna Penn, she has pioneered independent publishing practically from its inception and guided authors in the craft and business of writing. As J.F. Penn, she is an award-nominated, New York Times and USA Today bestselling thriller author. She’s also an award-winning podcaster, creative entrepreneur, and international professional speaker. I have followed her for years, but I learned a lot more about her and her journey in this conversation. We explored how she has regularly pivoted to live her values and value her life. I told you to prepare for me to fanboy, and unashamedly I did! And we still had a conversation that will inspire you with memento mori—“Remember, you will die.” That’s a more effective way to say it than, “Life is short, get on with it.”Jo is a true Go-Giver, providing lots of resources. Among other things, we talked about:* The Creative Penn, Jo’s flagship website focused on self-help for authors (this is a true resource treasure).* The Creative Penn Books for authors.* J.F. Penn is Jo’s outlet for writing beyond her creative output for writers. This includes her thrillers and other fiction, but also Pilgrimage, her deeply personal memoir, and where you will find her Gothic cathedrals book when it is ready.* Since Jo has over 40 titles published, if you mostly order books through Amazon it might be helpful to see a listing there of books published under both Joanna Penn and J.F. Penn.* Jo mentioned Dean Wesley Smith as a guide for discovery writers. One of his many books that addresses that very thing is Writing Into the Dark: How to Write a Novel without an Outline.* We talked about the S curve when it comes to change, and Jo referenced Seth Godin’s book, The Dip.* Jo also mentioned a book entitled Undisruptable by Aidan McCullen.* We’ve mentioned Scrivener on our show a few times. It is absolutely one of the best tools for writers. You might wonder why you need it if you already have Word. If you’re going to write anything longer than a magazine article or a blog post, you really need to check it out to see for yourself.* Do you like print books? Did you know that 75 percent of book sales still are for print books? Bookshop.org is a great resource for that. You can order print books, usually at a slight discount, and support either your local bookstore, independent bookstores in general, or my work as a writer. I have listed a few of Jo’s books as among my favorites. You can catch the video replay at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeWhat an episode! She continues to offer a variety of communication solutions ranging from marketing services to landing pages to blogging and more. She says, "Think of the Duchess as your 'message therapist'!" And she kept doing that despite a major life adjustment when she experienced an inundation of her apartment that destroyed 90 percent of her possessions, including irreplaceable, precious items from her time in the military. We talked about how to keep going when life throws you a curve ball, how to deal with grief, and how to realistically re-frame your viewpoint!Among other resources, we talked about:* Peg’s website* Peg’s LinkedIn profile* The Facebook reel she shared showing some of the damageYou can catch the video replay at any of the following channels, with audio versions available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeThanks for reading The Confidence Cultivator! The Alignment Show Ep. 43 with Rachael Herron

I told you I would fanboy this week. I did, unashamedly. I have followed writer Rachael Herron for many years. She has written and published more than two dozen books in a variety of genres, both through traditional publishing and through independent publishing, and she shares what she has learned with the writing community through courses, books, and communities. She left a well-paying, secure job in order to pursue her passion for writing, and she did so in a well-planned, controlled manner. Her story will inspire you in identifying and pursuing your own highest values.Among other resources and insights, we talked about:* Rachael’s website where you can learn more fascinating info about her background, get her writer’s resources, and more.* Rachael mentioned the importance of Hank Green’s idea of 80%. The Alignment Show Ep. 41 with Heather Stark

Folks, I knew this episode would be impactful, but I didn’t know how impactful it would be until we had gotten into it. Regular listeners know The Alignment Show features conversations with people who have often taken big risks to bring their lives into alignment with their values, which means honoring what they consider truly important. After this conversation, I can say that Heather Stark could be the icon for that concept.Heather Stark got my attention with her article, and I could hear/see the conversations she recounted in my head. I had to know about the journey that brought her there, that motivated her to work to help young girls overcome negative pressures and self-doubt. Her story of continuing to work to achieve that in the face of misguided opposition inspires me, and I think it will inspire you.In this episode, we shared these resources:* The Huffpost article that caught my attention.* Heather’s website that focuses on her book.* The Grace and Grit Box site, with multiple resource not only to support girls but also to help parents understand their challenges. It would not surprise me to find that cats cuss. However, today’s guest, Maribeth Decker, learned something about her abilities when one of her dogs used a profanity with her.Our pets are family, right? And family can be confusing. Wouldn't it be great if someone could help you figure out your crazy dog or your weird cat? This week on The Alignment Show talked with Maribeth Decker, a retired Navy officer who now works as an intuitive animal communicator, medical intuitive, and energy healer. The Alignment Show Ep. 38 with Kim Curtis

Kim Curtis's belief in herself helped her go from the free lunch ticket at her high-school cafeteria to success as an entrepreneur. Kim is a nationally recognized wealth management advisor, speaker, president, and CEO of Wealth Legacy Institute. She is proud to have created a firm where she can put her clients first, bringing the alignment she needs to feel true joy in her work. For Kim, how you deal with money says a lot about how you deal with life, and she’s passionate about helping her clients find a balance. That made a conversation with her perfect for The Alignment Show!We talked about the impact of her parents’ divorce on her and her sisters. We talked about how despite achieving making it through law school, she still felt unworthy and defaulted on over $92,000 in school loans within six months of graduation. We talked about the way an anonymous gift toward paying off those loans sparked a shift in how she saw herself that completely changed the way she viewed money. And we talked about how she developed a sense of control that led to an experience of joy.Resources we mentioned as well as ways to connect with Kim include:* The Wealth Legacy Institute* A Guide to Aging Parents, Kim’s guide to help you in managing a delicate situation.* Kim mentioned a quote from Mark Nepo. Terry Lancaster has had a long career as an author, speaker, and entrepreneur. Now with the release of Here Come the Nothing Heads, he's a poet-philosopher too. He has worked with thousands of small businesses offering proven marketing strategies that put the right words in the right order to tell the right story and make the cash register ring. Now he is bringing all his activities together under The Coalition for Human Kindness. We talked with him about how he got started in sales, a sales manager that pointed him in the direction of cultivating genuine relationships, his refinement from a 17-point life purpose distilled down to two words, the influence of the ancient book of wisdom The Tao Te Ching, and his mission to benefit the world. You can see Terry’s current work brought together under The Coalition for Human Kindness at BeKindClub.org. Dr. Keith McNally is a leadership coach specializing in facilitating discussions by bringing like-minded people together to create real impact. He launched two podcasts in the past two years: The Question Guy Podcast and Coach’s Corner. He is also the author of Walking the Path – A Leader’s Journey. We had a fascinating conversation that brought together several streams of his work focused on mental health and suicide prevention. It was dramatic and impactful, not least because it included his own story of having come close to ending his own life. Note: if you are considering a permanent solution to a temporary situation (that may not look temporary to you), please use this to recognize there are alternatives you may not see right now. The Alignment Show Ep. 34 with Lisa Wilber

Lisa Wilber helped launch The Alignment Show in episode 1. She came back for episode 34! Lisa is a top direct sales leader with over 40 years of experience in the industry. She has been in the top 10 money earners in her core direct sales company for two decades. She's also an author and a speaker—but it hasn't always been that way. There was a time when times were hard. We learned a bit about what led her to take a part-time business into full-time after a layoff, and then the characteristics that led her to choose freedom over security leading in turn to a lucrative business featuring multiple streams of income. But Lisa was clear: though the income matters, it’s because it feeds her higher value of freedom. In our conversation we mentioned the following resources:* Connect with Lisa through text to 603-345-9466.* The Facebook group that extends the community for followers of the book, Said the Lady with the Blue Hair, the Blue Hair Brigade. We've been talking about it for weeks. The Way of the Three-Year-Old Why has been released to Early Birds and is in the wild for pre-order! What could it mean for you? The Alignment Show Ep. 32 with Tracy Borreson

We had an encore guest this week on The Alignment Show. The subhead says something about “genuine authenticity,” which is grammatically redundant. It’s like said “genuine genuineness” or “real reality.” But authenticity has become something of a buzzword in recent years, leading some people to try to appear genuine, the way the makers of knockoffs of Rolex watches may go to a lot of trouble to appear to be the real thing. That’s not Tracy. Just because “authenticity” may be misused as a buzzword doesn’t make it a shallow concept. Tracy has put a lot of thought and effort into the Journey of Authenticity, and since our focus at The Alignment Show is on living your actual values rather than what others think you should value, a conversation about the efficacy of authenticity seems perfectly appropriate, as well as useful. Here’s a bit of authenticity: my disabled daughter has been in the ICU for 20 days at this point, and so I don’t have all the links for the show notes that we usually have. I will update this post later with more links, but I wanted you to be able to listen to it as soon as possible. But in recent years he has known tremendous success as a writer, publishing over 30 books in both fiction and non-fiction, including multiple best-sellers, including The Go-Giver and its followups and The Latte Factor. In this episode we talked about how he moved into writing (hint: he did it backwards, working first as an editor), how he balances confidence as a writer with managing imposter syndrome, and insights on his latest business fable written with Dan Rockwell called The Vagrant.Resources we mentioned in this episode include:* His website where you can find links to all of his books, including The Vagrant, download his free ebook entitled How to Write Good (Or At Least Gooder), and learn more about his highly-regarded writing course.* An email address ([email protected]) where you can learn about a Q&A on Oct. 19 centered around The Vagrant.* John mentioned two books by his friend Lou Berney that you might find interesting: November Road and Dark Ride. You can catch a replay on one of the following three channels:* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeYou can also hear audio versions on Substack, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify.Somebody you know needs to hear this.Make sure you don’t miss info about life-changing conversations! I’m behind posting this week’s audio and replays—Marty shared so many helpful resources that I wanted to try to get them in here, but I’ve realized I should just point to his LinkedIn, his primary web page, and just a couple of his many endeavors. He has weathered multiple business cycle downturns, and he has developed approaches that will help you determine your own best way to thrive in shaky times. We talked about how terrified he was of speaking to begin with, what led him to do it anyway, and how it has helped him (and could help anyone) build his businesses. She says, "Think of the Duchess as your 'message therapist'!"Peg has consistently lived her values since long before the pandemic. She is a marketing strategist and skilled communications consultant, dedicated to empowering busy entrepreneurs and business professionals through expertly crafted social media marketing solutions. Known as the “Message Therapist,” she massages the words in partnership with overwhelmed entrepreneurs to have their online marketing shine by developing and delivering their messages effectively and strategically. We talked about how the disconnect between her values and her 30+ years as a paralegal for major law firms in Washington, DC, led her to finally take the chance of stepping out into her own marketing business. We also talked about how she planned for that rather than simply leaping, and how she has diversified her streams of income while maintaining a core set of values that unifies them all. And we talked about how she adapted to keep her business running while she cared for her mother in the last days of her life.👉 For listeners, Peg offered a free quiz that will help you learn more about how you prefer to receive information and give you a framework for understanding how others you work with prefer to receive information. Evidence: I know her through an effort she calls "No-Pitch Networking." Are you tired of the increasing phenomenon I call "pitch slapping," where someone reaches out to make a "connection" on social media, only to start hawking their wares without even pausing for breath? The Alignment Show with Kathleen Hanover

All our guests have life-changing experiences to share with you, but this episode was especially powerful! Just as she was starting in a high-impact business a few years ago, her husband suffered an industrial incident (not accident—he had a debilitating effect from his employers overriding a basic safety system for convenience). She became a fulltime caregiver. Her husband then developed cancer, and they lost a home to a fire. She has weathered the storm (which doesn't mean there isn't still storm damage), and she is rebuilding. She says her motto is, "I spread good news that improves peoples' lives." She does that with public relations services, marketing strategy, public speaking, and coaching/training, all delivered in alignment with the 5 Laws of Stratospheric Success (she is a certified Go-Giver speaker). Our conversation focused on how she managed to keep going through the difficult times and how now, after significant loss, she uses that to help others. You won't want to miss this one.“When life hands you lemons…” goes the old saying. But it takes more than lemonade, or even margaritas, to deal with life. Kathleen has confronted the question of what matters. You will benefit from hearing what she has learned.Catch the video replay on any of these three channels:* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeKathleen has shared a tremendous list of resources that helped her through the storm. The Alignment Show with Michaela McGivern

I have learned that I don’t have to understand how something works in order to benefit from it. I have to admit that I don’t understand a lot of what Michaela McGivern does, but here’s what I do know: the last few years have left us all a bit stressed. Michaela has worked with several people I know, including real estate professionals, on what she calls “deep transformational healing and guidance” and “space clearing to help bring harmony to the land and properties.” We talked about how Michaela got started in her profession, what led her into this unconventional line of work, how she realized she saw and heard reality differently than most people, the importance of validation in pursuing her work, and how she is able to bring peace and healing to the people she works with.In this episode, we mentioned these resources that we encourage you to check out:* Michaela’s website (which includes a free discovery call)* Michaela on LinkedInYou can catch the video replay on any of the following video platforms:* LinkedIn Live* Facebook Live* YouTube LiveOr catch the audio only via Apple Podcasts or Spotify.Share this with someone who needs it! The Alignment Show with Book Update

Today’s show is a little different.First, my apologies for posting the audio late. I had some illness yesterday after the show, but I’m doing much better today. The first draft is finished, and is out to alpha readers right now. I will give it to beta readers in about three weeks, and then do the rewrite prior to releasing it for publication. In this episode I share a bit about the genre (business fable), the five guidelines, and the basic story without giving spoilers.Resources discussed in this episode:* Keep up with progress, including perks available only to subscribersYou can watch video replays at any of the channels below, or listen to audio right here or on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.* LinkedIn* Facebook* YouTubeYou know someone who would like to know about this book.
