Following the two recent cases where Black folks died following police calls due to mental health crises, advocates are asking for more attention to how emergency services respond to mental health calls. Dr. Notisha Massaquoi has been working on recommendations since the death of Andrew Loku in 2015. She joined Alex to talk about what needs to be done, and why it hasn't been done yet.
