Jerry Pinksen and his girlfriend Danielle “Dani” Kane were having dinner on the Danforth when the shooter started firing. The couple tried to help others that were injured when a bullet struck Danielle. She is currently in hospital on a breathing tube and doctors say she might not walk again.
