Show Notes

A year ago, the general population of Canada was praising all healthcare workers as heroes for their extraordinary work during the pandemic. But today, we saw protests across Canada outside major hospitals. What are the people protesting? Mandatory vaccines. What does that have to do with hospitals? Absolutely nothing.
Alex Pierson speaks with a Registered Emergency Room Nurse who works in Toronto, Andrea Cavan. Andrea and Alex discuss why protesting mandatory vaccinations outside of hospitals is not only a misguided gesture, but also dangerous to employees and patients in the hospital. They talk about why this protest group is detrimental to the Nurse industry, why it's a selfish and dangerous move to protest outside hospitals, and the mental strain many healthcare workers have added onto their lives due to these protests.

Let's get talking.
