Alex Pierson talks with Balazs Sarkadi, A.K.A Rocco, bassist and lead vocals in the Hungarian Punk band Bankrupt, and former band mate to Michael Kovrig. Its been just shy of 1000 days since Michael Kovrig & Michael Spavor were arrested in China for "espionage", and Bankrupt has just released a song of support for Kovrig called "The Plane To Toronto".
Alex talks with Balazs about Kovrig helping to start the band, what they hope to accomplish with there new song, and how else Bankrupt is planning to raise awareness and support for Kovrig.
Next, Alex speaks with Dr. Sohail Gandhi, a family physician & former head of the Ontario Medical Association. They discuss why Education Minister Lecce would not make COVID vaccines mandatory, and how safe schools should be in the coming new semester.
And finally, Alex checks in with Anthony Furey, Columnist for the Toronto Sun & Postmedia as well as the National Comment Editor. They discuss Dr. Nathan Stall's announcement to run for the Provincial Liberals, and that he plans to keep his seat on the Ontario Science Table.
