The federal government has named the eight Canadian organizations that will sit on a special advisory panel tasked with recommending news operations for participation in a $600 million media support fund. The 8 listed are hardly independent. The Liberals have chosen special interest lobbyists and unions and given them the power to pick winners and losers.


Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced today that the federal government is buying two more Arctic patrol ships on top of the six it has already ordered from Halifax-based Irving Shipbuilding. We are talking many billions to spent on a sole sourced contract, which, according to the government is to avoid lay-off's. What's with all these Liberal friendly companies being fed non stop corporate welfare.
