There is a human rights tribunal under way in BC. involving a transgender complainant who is well known for her activism. This is her 12th complaint against a woman's salon, this one is against a home-based salon she accuses of discriminating against her by denying her a Brazilian wax. 

The day before he resigned as Premier Doug Ford’s chief of staff amid a cronyism scandal, Dean French orchestrated the dismissal of the chair of a $60-billion public pension's board and appointed three new members. 

Justin Trudeau has sharpened his criticism of Donald Trump. Over those “send her back” chants at a rally. And yet, he hasn’t said a peep about a Quebec upper court upholding the Religious symbol ban.

Toronto cops have moved in to shut down some of the bigger and more established illegal pot shop. They are using a new technique which us putting huge cinder blocks to block the front. A heavy handed and expensive process. And the pot shop simply got its own fork lift and moved them.

In a blunder which undermined the seriousness of their announcement, the RCMP accidentally had the cat ears filter on for their live-stream of a press conference on the double homicide of a couple in northern British Columbia.
