This week, The Alarmist (Rebecca Delgado Smith) speaks with Producer Clayton Early and Fact Checker Chris Smith about the tragic Johnstown, PA Flood of 1889. With residents aware of the poor state of the dam and often wondering, “when their worst fears would be transcended by the horror of the actual occurrence,” it begs the question: why was nothing done?! Were they the victims of their own apathy or were there other factors at play?
