Meet Catherine
Catherine is a Trauma Therapist and Sound Healer and owner of Dare to Change Therapies.
20 years later and now working in the therapeutic world, she turned to sound healing to help her own healing journey and then became a sound healer herself, infusing her performances with a trauma-informed lens and eco-therapy. Over the past year Catherine has created two programs; Sound Medicine Hikes which is guided forest bathing, meditation and sound healing on different hiking trails, and Mother Earth Sound Medicine which is done in a studio and is a fusion of sound healing, plant music and a meditation journey through nature - essentially indoor forest bathing.
Specialty: fusing sound healing and eco-therapy, plant music and outdoor sound healing.
Instruments: vocals, drums, Native American flutes, ocarinas, singing bowls, shamanic rattles, kalimba, ocean drum, chakra chimes, koshi chimes.
