As Black History Month comes to a close, KSHB 41 News wanted to highlight some of the systemic issues affecting Black Kansas Citians. In the second part of a three-part podcast mini-series, digital producers Casey Murray and Katharine Finnerty will explore the topic of redlining, how the discriminatory practice has affected one East Kansas City neighborhood and how that neighborhood is fighting back.
