SCOTUS- Actually Parents Do Matter

On this episode of That Kevin Show, Kevin McCullough dives into the importance of parental involvement in children's lives. He discusses a recent Supreme Court ruling that reminded parents of their authority and responsibility in their children's education. Kevin also talks to Dr. Laura Perty about the changing landscape of women's healthcare, particularly in regards to menopause and hormone replacement therapy. Additionally, Kevin shares his excitement about the Medjet Horizon program, which provides travel security and crisis response services to individuals and families. There is something almost breathtaking about the fact that this even has to be said out loud. Parents matter. Not bureaucrats. Not school boards. Not activist teachers. Not the state of California. Parents. Yet here we are in 2026, with the United States Supreme Court having to step in and remind a massive public-school system that the people who actually raise children are still supposed to be involved in their lives. In a divided ruling this week, the Court sided with a group of parents challenging California policies that allowed schools to conceal a child’s gender identity decisions from their own families. The justices reinstated a lower-court order that prevents schools from misleading parents and requires them to respect parental instructions regarding how their children are addressed at school. Think about that sentence for a moment. The highest court in the land had to tell a state government that schools cannot deceive parents about their own children.  In plain English, that meant a child could be living one identity at school and another at home — and the adults entrusted with their education were expected to help keep the secret. That’s not education.  That’s state-sponsored deception. Parents across the state challenged the policy, arguing that the government had no right to insert itself between families and their children, particularly when issues of identity, faith, and moral formation were involved. The Supreme Court agreed — at least for now. The justices granted the parents’ request to reinstate a federal district court order preventing schools from misleading parents and requiring schools to follow parental guidance regarding names and pronouns used for their children. In other words, the Court acknowledged something most Americans instinctively know: parents are not optional accessories in their children’s lives. They are the primary authority. That truth is older than the Constitution. Older than the Republic itself. It is rooted in the natural order of things.  The Supreme Court’s ruling is not the end of this cultural battle. The case will continue through the courts, and similar policies across the country are already being challenged. But for a moment — a brief but meaningful moment — the highest court in the land reminded America of something profoundly important. Parents matter. Actually, parents matter more than almost anything else when it comes to children. Because civilizations rise and fall not primarily on their laws or their politics, but on the strength of their families. And when a society forgets that truth, history eventually reminds it. Usually the hard way. See the full article at Townhall.com  Original airdate 3/4/26See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How Can You Not Stand

In this episode of The Kevin McCullough Show, Kevin discusses the State of the Union address and the reaction from lawmakers. He's joined by Chris Wilson, CEO of Eyes Over, who shares insights on the measurable momentum event that unfolded. They dive into the emotional impact of the speech, including the Democrats' refusal to stand for certain moments, and how it created a narrative pressure that broke in the Republican's direction. Kevin and Chris also discuss the president's policy proposals, including the Save Act and banning congressional stock trading, and how they resonated with the audience. An Excerpt from How Can You Not Stand on Townhall.com No one expects a standing ovation for a president’s policies. That’s politics. That’s normal. That’s America. But when members of Congress refuse to stand for grieving parents, traumatized children, fallen heroes, and courageous law enforcement officers, something has gone deeply wrong in our public life. That isn’t protest. That isn’t principle. That is moral collapse. And it was on full display during President Trump’s State of the Union Address. During the speech, time and again, the President paused to honor Americans whose stories should have transcended party. Families who lost loved ones to violent crime. Children who survived unspeakable trauma. Police officers who ran toward danger. Victims who deserved at least a moment of shared respect. Republicans stood. Many Democrats did not. This was not accidental. It was coordinated. Imagine being a grieving parent in the gallery. Imagine having your child’s name spoken before the nation. Imagine hoping — just hoping — that for thirty seconds, politics could be set aside. And instead, half the chamber sits in icy protest. President Trump noticed. At one point, after honoring a family devastated by crime, he looked directly at the silent side of the aisle and asked, “How do you not stand?” It was not a rhetorical flourish. It was an honest question. And no one answered it. Because there is no good answer. See the FULL STORY @ Townhall.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Speaker Johnson to Pope Leo: Do Better

The exchange was brief, but it was revealing. When Speaker Mike Johnson was recently asked about Pope Leo’s rhetoric criticizing border enforcement and America’s immigration policies, he didn’t respond with talking points, partisan slogans, or political spin. He responded with Scripture. Specifically, he cited Romans 13 — a passage that has anchored Christian teaching on civil authority for nearly two thousand years — reminding listeners that government is instituted by God to restrain evil and promote order. In other words: borders matter. Law matters. Order matters. And caring about them is not a betrayal of Christian compassion. It is an expression of it. That response, reported by Fox News, was thoughtful, grounded, and biblically consistent. And it stands in sharp contrast to much of what passes today for “faith-based” commentary on immigration.  Which brings us, respectfully, to Pope Leo. As the spiritual leader of more than a billion Catholics worldwide, his words carry enormous moral weight. When he speaks about migrants, borders, and national responsibility, he is not simply offering a private opinion. He is shaping consciences. And in this case, he should know better. Christian compassion does not mean open borders. It never has. Scripture is clear on two parallel truths that must be held together, not pitted against each other. First: Human beings are made in God’s image. They deserve dignity. They deserve mercy. They deserve care. Second: God ordains civil authority to establish boundaries, enforce laws, and restrain chaos. Both are true. Always. The Bible does not present compassion and order as opposites. It presents them as partners. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%2013&version=KJV teaches that governing authorities are “God’s servants” tasked with maintaining justice. Proverbs warns that a society without boundaries invites destruction. Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls precisely so that vulnerable people would be protected. Even in the New Testament, cities had gates. Nations had borders. We need fewer sermons built on feelings and more built on truth. We need compassion anchored in wisdom. And we need church leaders who remember that moral clarity is not cruelty. It is love. So to Pope Leo, with respect: do better. Not louder. Not softer. Better. Better grounded. Better informed. Better aligned with the Word you are called to defend. And to Speaker Johnson: thank you for reminding the country that faith and facts still belong in the same sentence. In times like these, that takes courage. And conviction. Both are in short supply. Both are desperately needed.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Grammys: Supporting Violent Illegal Aliens!

You know? I wouldn’t have pegged Justin and Hailey Bieber as advocates for violent criminals. I wouldn’t have expected Bad Bunny to be comfortable standing shoulder-to-shoulder with policies that protect rapists and child predators. I certainly wouldn’t have guessed Billie Eilish would publicly align herself with movements that undermine law enforcement tasked with removing some of the most dangerous people from our country. Yet here we are. By wearing those insipid little pins that read “ICE OUT” during the Grammy Awards telecast, the celebrity class didn’t just make a political statement. They adopted—verbatim—the talking points of Ilhan Omar, Tim Walz, Justin Frey, and the broader radical Left that wants Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) crippled or abolished entirely. And if you want ICE out, it says something very specific about your value system. First, it means you are willing—knowingly or not—to defend the people ICE is lawfully removing from the United States: heinous criminal aliens. These are not gardeners, nannies, or people overstaying visas while working two jobs. ICE’s primary enforcement targets today are individuals with criminal convictions or pending charges—including murder, rape, sexual assault, child exploitation, human trafficking, drug distribution, and violent gang activity. And let’s be clear: silence is also a statement. Every artist who stood there wearing that pin—or said nothing while others did—endorsed the message. ICE isn’t perfect. No institution run by fallen humans is. But abolishing ICE wouldn’t create mercy. It would create open season on the vulnerable. The men and women of ICE deserve something better than smug condemnation from celebrities who will never visit a crime scene, interview a trafficking victim, or knock on a family’s door after a preventable death. Here’s the reality the Grammys don’t want to face: When ICE does its job, communities are safer. When ICE is obstructed, criminals thrive. And when celebrities glamorize ignorance, real people pay the price. You can clap for that if you want. The rest of us will stand with the people doing the hard work—quietly, lawfully, and with far more compassion than those pretending to have it. Radio Night Live: Fun Friday!

Guests: Kevin Carter, Executive Director of Teatown & Tom Harris, President of Times Square Alliance In this episode of Radio Night Live, Kevin McCullough and Cristyne Nicholas chat with Tom Harris from the Times Square Alliance about the iconic destination's enduring appeal.  They discuss how Times Square has become a place where people come to see and be seen, and how it's a reflection of the city's connection to the world. The conversation also touches on the importance of community and shared experiences, like the annual vow renewal ceremony in Times Square. Kevin and Cristyne also share their own personal stories about Times Square & experiencing the city's unique energy. Kevin Carter brings a broad range of experience, based on a sixteen-year career in leading science and children’s museums. These have included the California Science Center, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and, most recently, Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk, CT, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. In each, Kevin developed innovative ways to deliver complex technical subjects in engaging ways, delighting visitors and taking the discovery experience beyond the walls of the museum. Kevin’s initial entry to the museum world came from his work in IMAX film production and exhibition. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema/Television and is keenly aware of the importance of technology and collaborative efforts in making the Teatown experience among the very best. ABOUT TEATOWN:  Originally founded in 1963 and previously funded by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as an outreach station in Ossining, New York, Teatown Lake Reservation is a nonprofit nature preserve, and environmental education center located in the Lower Hudson Valley. Today, with 15 miles of hiking trails and more than 1,000 acres of protected land, a two-acre island refuge for more than 230 species of native wildflowers, wildlife exhibits, science and stewardship projects, nature classes and camps, and more, Teatown is the largest nonprofit community-supported nature preserve in Westchester County, with a mission to inspire the community to lifelong environmental stewardship. Teatown’s name originally dates back to 1776, when tea was scarce due to British taxation and a group of women named Daughters of Eve demanded that a local merchant John Arthur sell tea at a fair price. Hence, the area became known as “Teatown.”  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

That Sounds Like a Threat

When a top elected prosecutor stands on the steps of City Hall and vows to hunt you down the way they "hunted down Nazis for decades," those are not casual words. They are not political theater. They are not rhetorical flourishes. They are a threat — directed at a specific group of federal law enforcement officers carrying out lawful duties under the authority of the United States Constitution. And when that threat comes from a sitting district attorney, it deserves immediate and serious scrutiny. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner made that statement publicly while discussing federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity. His words were not hypothetical. They were not spoken in private. They were delivered on camera, at a press event, and circulated widely. Krasner referred to ICE agents as "wannabe Nazis" and promised to "hunt you down" and "find your identities." That sounds like a threat — because by any reasonable definition, it is one. Political debate is healthy. Policy disagreement is essential in a free society. But threats are not debate, and intimidation is not dissent. Prosecutors, of all people, should know where that line is. Larry Krasner crossed it. And if the law means what it says, then the response should be as serious as the statement itself. Because when a prosecutor threatens law enforcement, and no one responds, the message is clear: the rule of law is optional — and power decides who is protected. That is not justice. That is chaos. You’re Going To Have a Problem

If you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to want a glass of milk. And if you tell a country that its immigration laws are optional, you’re going to have a problem. It starts, as these things always do, with a wink and a nod. A decision to “look the other way.” A promise that compassion requires flexibility. A shrug at the law because enforcing it might make someone uncomfortable—or worse, unpopular. But laws don’t work like that. They’re either laws or they’re suggestions. And when you treat immigration law like a suggestion, everything downstream begins to rot. First, you disrespect the border. Not tighten it. Not reform it. Just quietly abandon enforcement. You say words like “asylum” and “equity,” and you let record numbers of people pour into the country with no meaningful vetting. Among them—this is not conjecture, it’s documented—are violent criminals with histories that would have barred them from entry under any sane system. If you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to want more. If you give criminal organizations an open border, they’re going to send more criminals. And they did. Gang members. Repeat offenders. People already wanted in other countries. The numbers aren’t disputed; the outcomes are. Protestors who were told they were “fighting fascism.” Officers who were told to stand down until it was too late. Innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire of a movement that began with “just be kind” and ended with blood on the pavement. At that point, the same elected officials issue statements. They call for calm. They disavow violence. They insist this isn’t what they meant. But it is what they built. Because if you give a mouse a cookie—and then another—and then another—you don’t get surprised when he eats the house. You cannot encourage lawlessness, excuse fraud, defy federal authority, bankroll agitation, and glorify resistance—and then act shocked when the system collapses into chaos. You told people the law didn’t matter. You told criminals they could stay. You told activists to resist. You’re going to have a problem. And this time, it won’t be solved with milk.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

ICE Doesn’t Need Permission

Apparently, the Constitution now comes with a permission slip. According to Minnesota’s political class—and the federal judge they are hoping will indulge them—federal immigration law is binding except when local officials find it inconvenient, uncomfortable, or politically risky. In those moments, the thinking goes, the state can simply ask a court to restrain Immigration and Customs Enforcement and call it “constitutional balance.” Thankfully, the Trump administration is having none of it. The Constitution does not grant states authority over immigration. It never has. Article I explicitly empowers Congress to establish a uniform rule of naturalization. Not a regional one. Not a city-approved one. Uniform. Immigration enforcement is inseparable from national sovereignty, which is precisely why the Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that it belongs to the federal government. ICE does not need Minnesota’s permission. Neither does the Constitution. And if we forget that, we will not be stepping forward into justice—we will be sliding backward into disorder. Accurately Understanding King Jr.

For evangelicals who take both Scripture and history seriously, Martin Luther King Jr. deserves neither hagiography nor dismissal. He deserves understanding. That requires resisting the modern temptation to flatten him into a one-dimensional symbol—either a sainted mascot for every contemporary political cause or a villain dismissed because he does not fit neatly into today’s ideological boxes. The real King was far more interesting, far more challenging, and far more explicitly Christian than either camp prefers to admit. At his core, King was not a progressive activist who occasionally quoted the Bible. He was a Baptist minister whose worldview, rhetoric, and moral imagination were saturated with Scripture. His leadership in the Civil Rights movement flowed directly from his theology, not in spite of it. Any evangelical attempt to understand King honestly must begin there. King believed the Imago Dei—that every human being is created in the image of God. This was not a poetic flourish; it was the moral engine of his work. Segregation was evil not merely because it was unjust, but because it was sinful. It distorted God’s design for human dignity and neighbor-love. When King spoke of justice, he was not appealing to abstract political theory. He was echoing the prophets—Amos, Isaiah, Micah—who thundered that God despises systems that crush the weak while pretending to be righteous. This is why King’s strategy of nonviolent resistance matters so much to evangelicals. Nonviolence was not merely tactical; it was theological. King believed that violence corrodes the soul of both the oppressor and the oppressed. His approach mirrored Jesus’ command to love one’s enemies—not sentimentally, but confrontationally. Nonviolence forced the nation to see its sin without allowing the movement itself to become morally compromised. Accurately understanding Martin Luther King Jr. does not require agreement with every conclusion he reached. It requires acknowledging that his courage flowed from Christian belief, that his moral authority came from biblical truth, and that his call for justice was inseparable from his call to love. That is not a progressive appropriation. It is an evangelical responsibility.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Erosion of American Culture

On this episode of That KEVIN Show, Kevin McCullough discusses the importance of standing up for American values and the erosion of American culture.  He talks about the recent trend of Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz wearing an Islamic star on his lapel, sparking controversy and raising questions about the symbolism of the star and its connection to Islamic governance.  Kevin also delves into the broader implications of this trend, discussing how it reflects a larger issue of cultural shift and takeover in the US. Cake & Squash: Christiani Pitts & John Nimick Join Fun Friday!

On today's Radio Night Live: Fun Friday! w/Kevin McCullough & Cristyne NicholasChristiani Pitts, star of the Broadway play: Two Strangers (Carry a Cake across New York); & John Nimick, President at Squash Engine, Inc. & Event Producer of Sprott Tournament of Champions presented by Crowd Street ABOUT CHRISTIANI: In Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Christiani Pitts plays Robin, a 26-year-old New Yorker struggling to find meaning while stuck in an unfulfilling, monotonous routine. Pitts was drawn to the role of Robin because of the character's relatable experience of depression, which the actress appreciates for not being over-explained in the production.  Pitts' Broadway debut in A Bronx Tale, beginning as an ensemble member before taking over the co-starring role of Jane, was followed by the leading role of Ann Darrow in King Kong. She made history as the first woman of color to play Darrow, working to flesh out the character traditionally depicted as a damsel-in-distress archetype. Now, following the pandemic and the birth of her first child, Zora Makena, Pitts is back as one half of the two-hander musical rom-com Two Strangers with co-star, Sam Tutty. Currently, she recurred on Starz's Power Book III: “Raising Kanan” and starred in the Netflix feature Resort To Love. Her other credits include: Dead Ringers, “Blue Bloods,” “The Good Fight,” “Evil,” “Elementary.” Christiani is repped by Buchwald Talent and Authentic Talent & Literary Management. ABOUT TWO STRANGERS (Carry a Cake Across New York)Meet Dougal, an impossibly upbeat Brit who has just landed in New York City for the first time to attend the wedding of the father he’s never met. Meet Robin, the sister of the bride and a no-nonsense New Yorker with a lot of errands to do for the bride—including picking up the groom’s estranged son from the airport. These two strangers begin their journey together navigating New York City, secrets, and second chances.  ABOUT JOHN: Nimick began playing pro squash in the 1980s, when hardball squash was growing in the U.S., though the sport wasn’t played in arenas and received relatively little press coverage.  John achieved a ranking of No. 2 on the World Professional Squash Tour in 1990-91 and won four “Grand Slam” singles squash titles during his professional career.  John also won the Intercollegiate Singles title, U.S. National Singles title and numerous other singles and doubles championships.  Nimick is now the president of sports marketing company Squash Engine, the leading promoter of international squash. Nimick’s comprehensive, value-driven approach to sports championship and entertainment management quickly established Squash Engine as the leading promoter in international squash and enabled his forerunner company Event Engine to provide similar services to the tennis, golf and classical and popular music markets. His company is known for hosting squash championships in non-traditional venues. Its tentpole event, the Tournament of Champions, is held in New York City’s Grand Central Terminal. Now, the “ToC” is the largest squash spectator tournament in the world. ABOUT TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS: The Tournament of Champions can trace its distinguished international squash lineage back to 1930 when it was first staged as the “U.S. Professional.” In the late 70’s it became the World Professional Squash Championships and then the Tournament of Champions in 1992. A women’s invitational draw was added to the event in 2001 with a full championship draw added in 2002-2003, 2005-2007 and 2012 forward. The tournament is the oldest, annual competition for squash professionals in the world. The list of titleholders is a veritable “who’s who” of squash through the years. The tournament has been played in 17 different cities but is now closely identified with its majestic Grand Central Terminal venue where the ToC was first presented in 1995.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Oh, Wittle Zohran Got So Mad Did He

Oh no. Somebody call a therapist, a spokesperson, and maybe a safe space — wittle Zohran got so mad. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is in full-blown fury mode because federal immigration authorities committed the ultimate sin in progressive politics: they enforced the law. Calmly. Quietly. Professionally. Without asking permission from City Hall or consulting the feelings of the mayor first. The offense? A New York City Council employee — unlawfully present in the United States — was detained by federal authorities during a routine immigration appointment. Not a raid. Not a sweep. Not a door kicked in at dawn. A routine appointment. The kind people voluntarily attend when they know immigration law still exists. And Mamdani absolutely melted down. Within minutes, the mayor was pounding his keyboard, declaring the arrest an “assault on our democracy.” Not on his agenda. Not on his politics. On democracy itself. Apparently, in Zohran Mamdani’s New York, democracy survives only when illegal aliens — including those with criminal records — are left alone and, ideally, placed on the public payroll. Let’s stop pretending otherwise: Mamdani doesn’t just want to protect illegal aliens from deportation. He wants them employed by the city. With benefits. With job titles. Paid for by taxpayers who are expected to shut up and smile about it. This wasn’t some faceless resident caught in a paperwork snafu. This was a city employee. And that’s why Mamdani is furious. Not because the law was violated — but because the law interrupted his narrative. If Mayor Mamdani spent even half as much energy addressing crime, housing decay, public safety, and infrastructure failure as he does manufacturing outrage on social media, New York might actually benefit from his tenure. Instead, New Yorkers get tantrums, tweets, and a mayor who appears genuinely shocked that the rule of law still applies — even when it’s inconvenient. And that’s the real scandal. Not that DHS enforced the law. But that New York’s mayor can’t seem to handle the fact that someone else still believes in it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Cut Them Off NOW!

President Trump absolutely should end federal funding to sanctuary cities — and not a moment too soon. What we’re witnessing across jurisdictions that openly shield criminality is not compassion, not humanitarian concern, and certainly not sound governance. It is lawlessness masquerading as activism. And the consequences are no longer theoretical. They are measurable, deadly, and devastating to American families. Sanctuary cities have declared themselves exempt from federal immigration law. They proudly refuse cooperation with ICE. They release criminal aliens back into communities. They posture morally while simultaneously tying the hands of law enforcement. And then they demand billions of federal dollars from the very taxpayers endangered by their defiance. That contradiction cannot continue. The Trump administration’s move to cut off federal funding to sanctuary cities and states is not punitive — it is corrective. It is a demand for accountability. If you refuse to enforce federal law, you should not receive federal subsidies. That principle is neither radical nor cruel. It is common sense. The results of sanctuary policies are now undeniable. Criminal organizations seek out sanctuary jurisdictions for one reason: they are safe havens. Criminal aliens know that local police are forbidden from cooperating with federal authorities. They know detainers will be ignored. They know political leaders will side with ideology over enforcement. That is not speculation — it is operational reality. Federal funding is leverage — and it should be used. Taxpayer dollars should support cooperation, not sabotage. They should reinforce public safety, not underwrite defiance. Cities and states that want federal money should meet federal standards. That is how governance works. Opponents will scream. Lawsuits will fly. Sanctuary leaders will insist they are victims. But the American people are no longer fooled. They see the results in crime statistics, overdose deaths, overwhelmed hospitals, and destabilized neighborhoods. Sanctuary cities have made a choice. President Trump is simply responding to it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Renée Good Was not a Passive Bystander

Federal authorities released mugshots of dozens of individuals taken into custody during a major ICE enforcement operation in Minneapolis. Rapists. Murderers. Sexual predators. Violent offenders. These were not traffic violators or people who simply overstayed a visa. These were hardened criminals with records that made them priorities for removal because their continued presence posed a clear danger to public safety. And yet, that reality has been almost entirely buried beneath a single, emotionally charged narrative. The national media has chosen to focus nearly exclusively on the fatal shooting of Renée Good during that same enforcement operation — portraying her as an innocent victim while largely ignoring the context of her actions and the purpose of the operation she interfered with. Let’s be clear about something that far too many commentators refuse to say out loud: Renée Good was not a passive bystander. She inserted herself directly into a live federal law-enforcement operation. She used her vehicle to obstruct officers who were actively attempting to detain criminal suspects. That intrusion matters. It is not incidental. It is central to understanding what unfolded. Federal agents were not conducting a random sweep. They were executing targeted arrests of individuals with violent criminal histories. When a civilian deliberately interferes with that kind of operation, the risk level changes instantly — for everyone involved. But while the media loops the same footage and politicians rush to microphones, another part of the ICE story goes completely untold. In recent weeks, ICE has conducted enforcement actions in New Jersey that look nothing like the caricature painted by activists. Several undocumented construction workers were encountered by federal agents. One individual — well known in his church community — was detained and deported after acknowledging his unlawful status. The process was orderly. Respectful. And notably, the federal government has already offered him a legal pathway to return to the United States. In this episode... Kevin dives into the controversy surrounding the Minneapolis shooting incident and the role of law enforcement. He's joined by KT McFarland, a former high-ranking civilian at the Pentagon, to discuss the US response to the Iran protests and the implications of President Trump's actions. Kevin also talks about the importance of supporting PreBorn!  and the work they do in providing free ultrasounds to expectant mothers. Additionally, he's joined by Dr. Kevin Roberts from the Heritage Foundation to discuss their new research on the importance of the nuclear family and how federal policy can support it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

ICE Stories They Don’t Tell You

Let’s be clear about something that far too many commentators refuse to say out loud: Renée Good was not a passive bystander. She inserted herself directly into a live federal law-enforcement operation. She used her vehicle to obstruct officers who were actively attempting to detain criminal suspects. That intrusion matters. It is not incidental. It is central to understanding what unfolded. Federal agents were not conducting a random sweep. They were executing targeted arrests of individuals with violent criminal histories. When a civilian deliberately interferes with that kind of operation, the risk level changes instantly — for everyone involved. The comparison that no one wants to make is also the one that matters most. On one side are violent criminals with records that justify removal. On the other side are non-violent individuals who work, pay taxes, raise families, and are often handled with discretion by ICE officers who understand the difference. And then there is the third category — activists who intentionally insert themselves into enforcement operations, escalate confrontations, and then expect law enforcement outcomes to remain predictable and risk-free. That is not how reality works. If America wants honest immigration reform, it starts with honest storytelling. It starts with acknowledging that enforcement is not cruelty, discretion is not weakness, and interference has consequences.   These are the ICE stories they don’t tell you. In this episode... In this episode of That Kevin Show w/Kevin McCullough; Kevin dives into the importance of living a life that challenges and convicts us. He shares his personal experience of seeking out a church community that pushes him to grow, as well as the importance of excellent expository preaching. Kevin also discusses the Sanctity of Life month and the work of Preborn! an organization providing ultrasounds to pregnant women in need. He emphasizes the impact of these ultrasounds in saving lives and changing minds and encourages listeners to support this cause.                                          How Do We Live w/Kevin McCullough  Kevin is joined by Dr. Keith Crosby, Lead Pastor of Hillside Church in San Jose, California to discuss Ephesians 4:29. America vs. F**K YOU!

The profanity. The contempt. The open hostility. We are now watching governors, members of Congress, mayors, and even law-enforcement leaders openly tell a lawful federal agency to “eff off.” Let’s be clear about what that means. They are cursing ICE—a legitimate law-enforcement agency created by Congress and charged with enforcing federal immigration law, particularly against criminal aliens who are in this country illegally. When politicians curse law enforcement, excuse violence, and rewrite facts to fit ideology, they are no longer governing. They are revolting—against the very citizens they were elected to serve. America deserves better than being told to “eff off.” And the American people—quietly, patiently, and increasingly fed up—are about to answer. Head to Townhall.com for the full article, & more conservative reporting and opinion. In this episode... Kevin is joined by Bethany Mandel and Cristyne Nicholas, to discuss the latest news and trends in New York City. They dive into the city's Winter Outing promotion, which offers discounted Broadway tickets and hotel stays, making it a great time to visit. They also discuss the new NYC mayor's efforts to keep the current police commissioner and the city's crime reduction efforts. Additionally, Kevin shares his thoughts on the importance of supporting pro-life organizations, such as Preborn!, which provides ultrasounds and resources to women in crisis pregnancies.                                          PreBorn! | Saving Babies and Souls PreBorn! is a non-profit pro-life organization dedicated to saving babies and souls by offering free ultrasounds, support, and resources to Pregnancy Clinics. You are a KEY instrument in the power source God desires to use to SAVE BABIES and SAVE SOULS. Maduro: The End of a Warm Collectivist

There is a lie socialism always tells before it tells the truth. The lie is that it is warm. That it is compassionate. That it cares more deeply, feels more tenderly, and governs more humanely than any system rooted in individual liberty. It promises cradle-to-grave security, shared sacrifice, and moral superiority—all in exchange for a little freedom here, a little property there, and eventually, your independence altogether. The truth comes later. It always does. Today, that truth no longer governs from a palace in Caracas. It sits behind bars in the United States, wearing shackles instead of a sash. Nicolás Maduro, the strongman who inherited Hugo Chávez’s socialist “revolution,” no longer presides over anything. He is rotting in U.S. custody, facing justice for narco-terrorism, corruption, and the wholesale destruction of a once-prosperous nation. The man who promised equality delivered starvation. The leader who vowed dignity enforced fear. The architect of collectivist “care” left millions desperate, displaced, and dead. This is not an anomaly. It is the inevitable end of the ideology itself. Maduro did not consult Venezuelans when he expropriated their livelihoods. He did not politely debate protesters filling the streets. He deployed batons. He deployed bullets. He deployed terror. And now, fittingly, he is no longer the one issuing commands—he is the one awaiting judgment.  Warm collectivism always ends cold. Prosecute Somali Walz Now!

A now-viral investigative video showing empty or barely functioning daycare centers receiving millions in public funds has exposed what many Minnesotans have long suspected — that the state’s social-services funding pipeline has been riddled with fraud, lax oversight, and ideological blinders so thick they border on willful negligence. This wasn’t a one-off oversight. Reports now suggest tens of millions — and potentially far more — flowed through Minnesota’s childcare and social-services programs without proper verification. That doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t happen quietly. And it doesn’t happen without people inside the system ignoring red flags or actively enabling the fraud. This scandal is bigger than one daycare center and bigger than one viral video. It strikes at the credibility of government itself. When taxpayers are told their money is funding childcare and education — and it instead disappears into empty buildings and shell operations — faith in the system collapses. And rightly so. Governor Walz may continue to spin, minimize, and justify his so-called reforms. He may insist this was all somehow unavoidable. He may hope the news cycle moves on. But the facts remain: Millions vanished. Oversight failed. Fraud flourished. Accountability lagged. Minnesotans — and taxpayers nationwide — deserve justice, not talking points. Walz may not want to fess up. But prosecutors should force him to. See the FULL STORY at Townhall.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

2026: The Elevation Principle

Every so often, a year arrives not merely as a calendar change, but as a moral summons. I believe 2026 is one of those years. Not because of who may be elected, what markets may do, or what technologies may disrupt—but because of who we choose to become. If we are serious about reclaiming sanity, strength, and purpose in our lives and our nation, then 2026 must become the year of what I call the Elevation Principle. The Elevation Principle is simple in definition; but demanding in practice: start where you are—and elevate. Elevate your thinking. Elevate your skills. Elevate your relationships. Elevate your understanding of the world, of one another, and ultimately, of God. This is not about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about refusing to stay intellectually lazy, morally stagnant, or spiritually disengaged. At its core, the Elevation Principle rests on three pillars: knowledge basis, skill proficiency, and people ability. These three together form the foundation for meaningful personal growth—and for national renewal. This is not a call for elites. It is a call for everyone. You. Me. All of us. Starting exactly where we are. In the coming weeks, I’ll be inviting readers to take this journey more intentionally—to learn, to grow, to elevate together. Because the truth is this: 2026 will be whatever we decide to make it. The question is simple. Will we stay where we are—or will we rise?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Shaking the Foundation of America's Energy Landscape

The United States government under President Trump has invoked classified national defense assessments to put the brakes on projects that have already cleared years of permitting, environmental review and in-industry investment. Big development shaking the foundation of America's energy landscape; and one that I think is going to have repercussions from state capitals to Wall Street; from Union Halls to Silicon Valley. The Trump administration today announced an immediate pause on all large-scale offshore wind projects under construction in the US, effective immediately. It's not a little bureaucratic shuffle. This is a sweeping, unprecedented halt that impacts five massive wind farm leases already underway along the East Coast, including Vineyard Wind, Revolution Wind, Coastal Virginia Offshore, Sunrise Wind, and Empire Wind. I think Empire is the one that's closest to New York. The action comes not in some distant committee, but at a moment when national security and the language of national security is front and center in every discussion about our future. The Department of the Interior, led by Secretary Doug Burgum, explicitly cited national security risks identified in classified reports by the Department of War as the reason for the pause. According to the Department of Interiors press release, the administration believes large scale wind turbines; their massive, rotating blades and reflective towers; can create radar clutter that obscures legitimate moving targets and generates false returns on US defense radar systems. We've been using more fossil fuels each year for the last one hundred years than we did the year before; and it didn't matter who was president nor how green their policy was. We still use more, and we have more. We have enough under our continental shelf to supply our needs for the next two thousand years and never run out. Renewable energy groups and clean power advocates are crying foul, calling the National Security Rationale weak and inconsistent and pretextual. Of course they do! Because those guys are interested in controlling your life, not in actually making energy more accessible or doable. Opposition isn't limited to environmental advocates. Local unions and port workers who are benefiting from the construction activity are also facing uncertainty about their livelihoods. Guys, you'll learn other skills. There are other things to build. If you're a quality craftsman, pausing these five windmills is not gonna make a big difference. The chief...The Commander in Chief, his primary responsibility is to keep you and me safe. So, this is what they've done, and I'm glad that they've done it. See more at Townhall.ComSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Trump’s Numbers Tell the Truth—The Media Still Won’t

America first does not mean America alone. It means America is focused. America ordered. America is serious again. Which helps explain why President Trump's approval numbers—despite wall-to-wall negativity—are outperforming not just Biden’s, but Obama’s and Bush’s at the same point in their presidencies. This is where the media narrative collapses. We’re told relentlessly that Trump is “divisive,” “chaotic,” “dangerous.” And yet, when measured against the same standard applied to his predecessors, the public registers something different. Voters see outcomes. They see economic improvement. They see deterrence restored. They see a president who speaks plainly and acts decisively. Meanwhile, the same media that treated Obama’s 40% approval in late 2013 as a temporary hiccup now treats Trump’s higher numbers as an existential crisis. The same outlets that downplayed Biden’s collapse into the high- 30s now hyperventilate over Trump breaking into the mid-40s. Here’s the reality they can’t escape: Trump’s record is performing better than any of the past six administrations at this same stage. Better economically. Better in energy. Better on deterrence. Better on border enforcement. Better on regulatory reform. And now, better in public approval than Obama himself. That doesn’t mean the job is finished. It means the direction is right. It Was Islam… Again!

This is what radicalization looks like when it has fully taken hold. Moral inversion. A worldview in which outward piety is the measure of goodness, while the murder of Jews is not merely excusable, but righteous. That doesn’t happen accidentally. People are not born believing Jews deserve to die. They are taught. They are trained. They are saturated in a theology that frames Jews as eternal enemies—corrupt, treacherous, cursed—and that casts violence against them as obedience to God. Over time, the horror fades. The killing becomes normalized. Even sanctified. This is not theoretical. It is observable. From the charters of Hamas and Hezbollah to sermons broadcast across satellite television, to Iranian-funded “cultural centers” across the West, the message is consistent: Jews are the problem. Jews are the obstacle. Jews must be removed. Iran didn’t invent this hatred, but it has industrialized it. The Islamic Republic has spent decades exporting antisemitic doctrine with money, weapons, and ideology. It backs terror groups not merely as geopolitical tools, but as religious instruments. The goal is not borders. The goal is purification—beginning with Jews, and eventually extending to the West that protects them. Bondi Beach fits this pattern perfectly. A father and son radicalized together. A family steeped in belief. A mother who cannot recognize evil because the theology has redefined it. And a media class that seems terrified to state the obvious. Why the hesitation? Because naming Islam—plainly and without modifiers—forces a reckoning many would rather avoid. It means admitting that this problem is not limited to “extremists” who misread the faith, but to interpretations of Islam that are widely taught, funded, and defended. It means confronting the uncomfortable reality that religious ideas, not just socioeconomic grievances, drive this violence. So instead, stories are softened. Language is diluted. The ideology is blurred. And the public is left with the impression that these events are tragic but inscrutable — acts of madness rather than acts of belief. But Jews are dying because of belief. Emotionally Difficult in a Therapeutic Age

Let me say something else that will offend precisely the readers it needs to: If Donald Trump is the reason you want to renounce America, then Donald Trump didn’t break you—your worldview did. America was never meant to be our Messiah. It was never meant to guarantee emotional tranquility. It was meant to guarantee freedom. And freedom requires durability. Faithfulness. Courage. Even a willingness to be uncomfortable for long stretches of time. And so I offer a gentle reminder to the wanderers: The only place on earth where you are guaranteed the right to speak, to worship, to build, to disagree, to raise your children as you see fit—the only place where you are free to love this country or criticize it loudly—is the very country you’re trying to escape. You don’t flee from a nation like that. You steward it. You argue for it. You fight for it. And you thank God you were born in it. Even in election years. Especially in election years.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

BONUS: "Just Another Day" on RNL Fun Friday!

Joining us today on RNL- Fun Friday! we have Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actress, Patty McCormack; & Dan Lauria, best known for his portrayal of the stern, but loving, money-conscious father on the TV series The Wonder Years. Dan Lauria wrote and starred in his new play, Just Another Day, with Patty McCormack. Dan and Patty are finishing up their run of the show at the New Jersey Repertory Company. ABOUT JUST ANOTHER DAY “Just Another Day” unfolds on a park bench where the Man (Lauria), who had a career as a comic, and the Woman (McCormack), who was a celebrated poet, sit and chat as they try to remember their connection to each other. In Act I, the banter is barbed as the Man tries to jog the Woman’s memories of their time together. The pressure to remember puts her on the defensive and she strikes back with her overstuffed “lexical treasury” of devastating insults that require a dictionary to feel their full weight. Rather than find common ground the duo seems to be moving farther apart, until he begins talking about old movies, unleashing shared memories of “His Girl Friday,” “My Man Godfrey,” and “Gunga Din,” and she offers a hilarious imitation of Bette Davis. In Act II the roles are reversed, and the Woman must coax the now-morose Man to return to one of his famous routines, which Lauria delivers with practiced ease, along with some eye-rolling jokes. When they worry about how to live today when they can’t recall yesterday, the poet reminds the comic she once served as his sounding board, and they should simply start fresh. They work together, creating new building blocks to develop jokes for him and new story lines for her. Their interactions are occasionally discouraged — no touching — by a bell, a reminder that they are not independent any longer but part of a carefully monitored community that is mindful of their safety. Although they resent the bell’s interruptions, it serves as an anchor to their present circumstances. Anyone who has conversed with a loved one struggling with memory loss will recognize the fear and frustration of trying to assemble the pieces of one’s life into some coherent order. But they will also notice the comfort that sometimes comes with the retelling of old stories. In the program notes, Lauria says the play was inspired by his visits to an old friend who is in memory care and has difficulty remembering friends and family. But his friend’s memories of the New York Yankees are sharp and detailed and telling those stories often helps him reconnect to the present.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Is Cold-Blooded Murder Just an Unfortunate Accident?

In this episode of ThatKEVINShow: I'm struck by how every conversation we had today pointed to the same tension that defines this moment that we're living in. The world is trembling, but the truth of God is still unshaken. We opened the show with something hard; the comment from Congressman Thompson calling the deliberate execution of our finest in uniform an "unfortunate accident". I still can't get over that phrase; not because it's just tone deaf, but because it diminishes the sacredness of the sacrifice of our warriors. The Apostle John never used soft language for evil. He didn't call darkness unfortunate; he said light has come into the world, but men love darkness instead of light.  What Dr. Ray Pritchard reminded us of today is so deeply important. Advent is not sentimental. It's confrontational. Advent is the invasion of light into very real darkness. And if there was ever a December when America needed that reminder, it's this one. We talked to Patrice Onwuka about genuinely encouraging economic news, jobs up, inflation cooling, more families catching their breath. Hope isn't a rumor, it's measurable. I thought about the people listening today who have been holding on for dear life for the past couple of years. Sometimes God sends hope not in thunderclaps, but in data points. Maybe the Lord's provision shows up in a spreadsheet, before it's in your spirit; but it's still provision, nonetheless.  Lee Strobel reminded us about miracles. Not hypotheticals, not abstractions, real interventions of a God who is not retired, not distant, not uninterested. It felt like a reminder that even when leaders disappoint us; even when Congress minimizes evil; even when the world feels cold or cynical; heaven is not asleep. The same Jesus who arrived in Bethlehem arrives still...in moments, in mercies, in miracles. We heard from Shelley Goldberg. Because if there's ever a time when families feel strained, stressed, anxious & stretched thin...it's this season. We all want peace, but sometimes the hardest place to find it is around our own tables. Her wisdom was simple, but profound. Adults need intentionality at Christmas the same way children do. Peace doesn't materialize out of thin air. It's cultivated, it's chosen, it's practiced, I want you to do something for me. Carry this with you. The world may misname evil, but God doesn't. Leaders may disappoint, but Christ can't. Economies shift but God provides. Families struggle, but grace heals us. And the light that came into the world then; still shines, still pierces and still prevails. That's why, even like the days we live in now, we must not, cannot, do not lose hope; because hope is what it is about. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It's Not the Government's Job to Enforce the Safety of Your Kids

On today's episode of ThatKEVINShow, there was a lively discussion about parental responsibility; what it means to raise children in a digital world and the role of government in protecting children's well-being. Children are precious. They deserve guardrails, guidance & love; but kids belong to parents and not the politicians. The greatest gift a child can receive is not an app restriction or a legislative mandate. It's a mom and dad who show up consistently, courageously and walk with them on their way to maturity. On How Do We Live with Dr. Ray Pritchard; we were in the Gospel of John again, and it is the word taking on flesh. It is the light refusing to let darkness win. That's not myth, that's metaphor. If Jesus came into the world once; as Dr. Ray Pritchard reminded us, then he can and does still enter our world today, Todd Chapman reminded us that as we are thinking about the most inconvenient truths of our era, slavery did not end with Lincoln or the passing of a constitutional amendment. It's still alive in our lifetime. This Christmas we're trying to set people free, not metaphorically literally. A child, a mother captive in Sudan tonight could wake up tomorrow free because people like you got involved. We spoke with former CDC director, Dr. Robert Redfield. A man who has carried enormous responsibility on his shoulders. He reminded us to remember that public health isn't an abstraction. It's how we care for one another. It's how we protect families and communities and the vulnerable. We can debate policies and medicine, and we will; but behind every statistic is a life made in God's image and given to parents who are made in God's image. John Wey joined us with some smart, practical tips for holiday travel.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
