Show Notes
On today's show, we will be breaking down when I think you need to STOP comparing your 9-5 to that of an influencer!
It is based on my most recent Instagram post:
- The influencer you follow isn’t working your 9-5 so stop comparing their life to yours
- So you wanna wake up at 5am, hit your hot girl walk, meditate, see the sunrise, have a weights session, eat a filling breaky and eat ready…all before your 8am uni class which takes 25 minutes to drive to? Or 9am shift or 8:30am school drop off or whatever it is in your case.
- Am I saying its not doable? No.
- I’m just asking you this: “why are you doing all of this?”
- Is it because the instagrammer you follow does?
- Or is it because you actually thoroughly enjoy doing those things and think they will add to your life.
- For so long, I felt that I had to get all of this done before my day started, in order to show up as an integral human being.
- That’s actually not true in the slightest. I just needed to buld these types of habits around my schedule and into my week.
- I hate to break it to you but your fav influencer does not live the lifestyle you live.
- This is neither a bad or good thing. It’s just facts.
- So I would suggest taking their habits and practices in as inspiration, not gospel. Otherwise, you might burn yourself the fck out.
