Koh Samui is more than a tropical island. It is a place best explored slowly, from the deck of a boat at anchor and the seat of a motorbike rolling along the coast.
In this episode of Thailand Adventure Secrets, Bill takes you through six adventurous bucket list experiences that reveal the heart of Samui and the surrounding waters.
You’ll travel by small boat to Ang Thong National Marine Park, hike to the cool jungle pools of Namuang Waterfall, and spend time with rescued elephants at an ethical sanctuary.
The journey continues with a cultural visit to the Big Buddha Temple on Koh Fan, snorkeling right off the beach at Silver Beach, and a classic east coast motorbike ride past Hin Ta and Hin Yai before stopping at a dramatic cliffside cafe.
The episode finishes in Bophut with a hands-on Thai cooking class that begins at the local market and ends around a shared table.
