His personal goal of using his NIL earnings to relocate his family to Austin, where his younger brother Clayton, who has autism, can access better resources, was achieved early in his college career. Simmons now leads Clay’s Color Crew, a non-profit helping kids with autism in underserved areas through art and community events. As he enters his junior season, Simmons is focusing on enjoying the game and finding his next big motivation, aiming for a national championship while keeping a smile and having fun.
