As one of the core artists on the Ghostly International label roster since the early 2000s, Willits has produced one of the most diverse and prolific catalogs within contemporary ambient music. Releases span introspective solo albums, widescreen audiovisuals, and collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tycho. His process is an expression of love, inspired by an international audience of listeners, and the conviction that music can help catalyze personal transformation.

"Music can allow us to feel and become more present with ourselves and others. It can catalyze inner change, and those changes within ourselves can influence changes in the world. At a young age, I realized that my life’s path was to make immersive music that helps people listen to themselves, listen with others, and listen to the world around them. I am continuously learning and evolving through the creative process, a practice of letting go of all that I create as it creates me."
