Heartwonders

My friends call me Ev. I am an artist who likes to have fun. When I was younger I didn’t have many friends. I looked for people, things, or labels to validate me. It wasn’t easy to find a voice through my language barrier and learning disabilities. Before I learned my ABC's, I learned that I was unlovable. It was hard to believe I was love when I was suffocated in a closet by a preschool teacher, bullied with baseball bats, abused, and humiliated. Figuring out how to express'y answer myself pushed me to communicate through art. Communicating through art gave me a purpose to live when I didn’t think I had a purpose! People often ask how I got through those experiences. Through art, I was expressing and expanding the good I wanted to experience. Sharing heartwonders is my voice, but it’s also a playground of insight. Heartwonders helps us reclaim our good and discover our higher purpose through art. Heartwonders teaches the awareness of Good through art so there is less self-hatred and more love. Let’s be kind and loving to ourselves regardless of what the world tells us. We are love and we are worthy of our good. We are here to champion our good!
