A study found that nearly 500,000 Filipino children were trafficked-–that is, bought and sold illegally—to produce new child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in 2022. In this episode, we look at the factors why the Philippines remains to be the global hotspot for online sexual abuse and exploitation of children, and what the government is doing about it.
