In May, Thai citizens headed to the polls for only the second time since the current government seized power through a military coup in 2014. A record number of voters turned out for the opposition, giving the progressive Move Forward party the most seats in parliament. Khunthida Rungrungkiat, a former deputy leader of Future Forward Party, joins us for a conversation.
