OpenAI is releasing its new GPT-5 model for free to all ChatGPT users, bringing significant changes to the service, while also awarding multimillion-dollar bonuses to some employees. Microsoft is integrating GPT-5 into its Copilot product and is also cautiously onboarding Grok 4 due to content concerns. In other business news, tourism giant Trivago is acquiring Israeli company Holisto for approximately $40 million, The Browser Company has launched a $20 subscription for its AI browser, and Google has reportedly fallen victim to a scam it had also discovered.
