Pokemon Champions is the new free-to-play competitive game on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, set to launch on April 8th. Its the official battle format for the 2026 Pokemon World Championships. The game features fresh Mega Pokemon at launch and ties into Pokemon Home for storage and swapping. Team building starts slow, with one random Pokemon unlocked each day.
