Show Notes
It's part 2 of our discussion on the FTC Safeguards Rule.
Matthew, Todd, and Nate are back to finish the discussion. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently issued complicated new amendments to its Safeguards Rule, which require auto dealers to undertake a series of procedural, technical, and contractual steps to protect the consumer and other personal data. The Rule’s requirements must all be completed by December 9, 2022. This discussion offers an overview of the FTC’s Automotive Privacy and Security Framework.
