Teach Me Sweden is a Swedish History podcast by comedians Jonathan Rollins (US) and Erik Broström (SE). Each week one of them reads a true story from Swedish History to the other one who likely knows nothing about it.
In this episode, Jonathan teaches Erik about the shipwreck of the naval flagship Kronan. Half a century after Vasa, the Swedish navy decided to upgrade the flagship to become one of the fiercest warships on the water. The fate of Kronan was decided by decadence, a touch of arrogance and a spash of incompetence. Laugh while you learn about this piece of Swedish history.
