Chapter 4 Tao Te Ching – We Never Graduate!
EIn the 4th Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu shows us that life is never a "You show me twice, and I will take it from there" proposition. Chapter 3 Tao Te Ching – Selfless Action Causes Everything to Fall into Place!
EIn the 3rd Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu describes a life of peace and joy begins with inner emptiness, not external fullness. It is perfectly ok to have things – not ok for things to have you or you determine your value by others' opinions and achievements. It is selfless action that causes everything to fall into place. Chapter 2 Tao Te Ching – Learning to Be!
EIn the 2nd Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu shows us that life can appear effortless (without angst - not without work) when we learn to do the job that is in front of us to do and not get so invested in outcomes we have created and perceived to be ours to claim. Chapter 1 Tao Te Ching – The Way of Not Knowing!
EIn the 1st Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu shows us the way of the Tao is a way of "not knowing." Most of us are taught growing up that the first thing we do is label – good or bad, etc. We were taught to identify and structure every situation, person, place, or thought so we could apply the highest level of perceived control. The way of the Tao is the opposite. Letting ourselves not know, not label or name, be powerless.
