Show Notes
Sarasota County deputies and the Florida Gaming Control Commission have successfully shut down an illegal gambling operation, Spin twenty-four seven, seizing sixty-six slot machines and a substantial amount of cash. The operation, located at five seven zero nine South Beneva Road in South Gate Ridge, had been operating despite a previous cease-and-desist order. The two individuals running the operation, Mohamed Belyaqout and Mabielka Cumbrera, were arrested and charged with keeping a gambling house and owning slot machines. This raid is part of a larger effort to eliminate illegal gambling in Florida, with more raids expected in the future.
