Recently, parrots from Sarasota Jungle Gardens brought back memories for Rose Solomon, who spent time at the house as a child. The Sarasota African American Cultural Coalition aims to share this history with young people, hosting a book fair at the house for the upcoming Spring Fling Easter parade.
