Show Notes
Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts nurse accused of murdering her three children, may avoid prison if she admits to the crimes in writing. Her lawyer filed a motion after a judge rejected splitting the trial into guilt and sanity phases. Clancy, who was battling severe depression and taking heavy medication, left a note and attempted suicide before being found by her husband. She is now at Tewksbury State Hospital and has sued her doctors for allegedly mishandling her care. A court psych eval is scheduled for April, and the trial begins on July 20th.
