Two people tragically lost their lives in a motel fire in Avon Park, Florida. The blaze, which broke out in a second-floor room at the Econo Lodge, resulted in the deaths of an adult man and woman. Despite the efforts of first responders, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Florida Bureau of Fire, Arson, and Explosives and the Highlands County Sheriffs Office.
