Caneil Satchwell, an 18-year-old from East Bay High School, has been named the Youth of the Year by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tampa Bay. Born in Jamaica, Satchwell dedicates two to three days a week to mentoring local kids, coaching basketball, and assisting with homework. His commitment to the club, which helped him find purpose and community, has earned him a special tribute from the USF basketball team. Now, hes aiming for the statewide Youth of the Year title, inspiring more young people to lead by example.
