U.S. Army Reserve Major Cody Khork, a Bay Area hero, was honored with a grand homecoming after losing his life in a drone attack in Kuwait. The attack occurred following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran. Khork received a posthumous promotion and awards before his return. A grand procession, including a water cannon salute and a motorcade, was held to honor his sacrifice. Funeral services and an escort to his final resting place at Bushnell National Cemetery are set for this weekend.
