Show Notes
Pasco County residents can drop off old tires for free this week to combat mosquito breeding spots. The event, running from March 16th to 20th at various local parks, is organized by the Pasco County Mosquito Control District, state environmental and health departments. Tires left outside can become mosquito nurseries, spreading serious viruses. This service helps protect families from mosquito-borne illnesses. Each day features a different drop-off site, open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a limit of 24 car tires per household. The district office at 2308 Marathon Road in Odessa is also an option. Use these services before mosquito season intensifies.
